Algo así me pasó en 2018, justamente cuando estaba pasando por un asunto de corazones rotos (que entre personas del mismo sexo se vive distinto). El caso es que estaba en mi trabajo, y viendo el timeline de FB, me aparecía qué Wild Nothing acababa de lanzar "Shallow Water" (segundo sencillo de 'Indigo'), y lo sentí como un himno o algo que le acompañó por los siguientes meses.
5 años después, con otra situación similar (obviamente, con otro bato), me aparece esta canción, y de algún modo me inspiró para ir a buscarlo a su Ciudad... aunque me animé a hacerlo hasta apenas el mes pasado. Desgraciadamente, no lo encontré.

Yeah, it hit Spotify at midnight. And I personally like _Headlights On_ and _Suburban Solutions_ a bit more, but this is still incredible and further evidence that this will likely end up being one of his best albums.

I honestly feel like Wild Nothing is so much about analog sound. nocturne had a great great dreamy analog sound. Here I feel like the sound is flat and digital.
Well, based off the singles so far I would think Jack’s intent here is to go for a more modern pop sound and production.

It’s just an artist using the modern technology. It was like Springsteen making 5 Rock Albums to start his career, then he made a Stripped-Down Folk Album (Nebraska), followed by an album which swung completely the other way, using the The Newest & Most Popular Technology of the Moment -- The Synthesizer in 1984 -- for Born In The USA 🇺🇸 -- with Synthesizer-Heavy songs like Dancing In The Dark & I’m On Fire & My Hometown --- making it his Biggest Album -- and one of the Biggest Albums in Rock History.
Ironically, Springsteen NEVER again used The Synthesizer on any album Before or After Born In The USA,
