Your dress is just lovely! 🇨🇦💞
Thank Izzy ❤️
Great vlog. Love your fringe dress 🙂
Thank you so much I really appreciate that x
I just love the fabrics you selected for those two patterns! Stunning! I can't wait to see how they come out!!!
Thank you Marisa. I hope they turn out OK. Looking forward to our collaboration videos too for our project x
love the fabrics that you have chosen for the Pearle and culottes
Thank you ❤️
You have had a very productive couple of weeks! I am with you, not a fan of taping together patterns or cutting them out.
Thanks Christine ❤️ I hope you are getting there on the sewing front x
Hi Clare, I have recently made the Kallispell dress from Itch to Stitch in that lovely cotton poplin you are planning to use for your culottes. It is a beautiful fabric to work with, and it gives the required structure to the skirt of my dress, that is - it does not drape. I also have the Fringe dress pattern as my next project, yours is lovely, so I'm keen to get on with it.
I need to look that one up Margaret! Sounds like it might be up my street. The fabric feels beautiful as you say not drapey though. I hope you like the fringe dress I really enjoyed making mine. Thanks for watching ❤️
A timely vlog, I had pulled out the Fringe Dress pattern this evening for my next project. I do however need to trace out the pattern as it will need a few tweets- a task I hate 😕
That's fab Jane, it's a lovely pattern. Yes tweaking a pattern is annoying I always have to aswell. I hope you enjoy sewing it up though x
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful makes and your plans for June. I enjoyed it so much. I'm also curious as to what brand of sewing machine that is behind you on the table?
Hi Diane, it is the brand Silver, I can't remember the model. I will have have a look later and come back to you xxx
It is the Silver 9500E, apologies for the delay. I bought it second hand in a bit of a whim, not expecting much from it as it was being sold at about £30 I think. Actually I have it really good. X
I agree with you on the length of the culottes... below the knee looks frumpy on so many people. I do love the pattern.
I could hear the poplin fabric... rustling? when you were showing it. The fabric is lovely - will it be drapey enough for the culottes?
It is a concern of mine too. Time will tell!🤣 Thank you for watching and commenting I really appreciate it x
