    Ms. Andrea, being new to sewing, I have watched many tutorials, but I always come back to yours! You are clear and concise with your instructions; the videos are full of handy hints from your vast experience, not just chatter (I like chatting, but when it's a sewalong, I want to learn lol). I cannot express my gratitude enough for you taking the time and trouble to film these sewalongs. May we please have more!

    Nice sew along. Thanks. You could easily sew this dress with contrasting bands on the cuffs and facing. Just sew the constrasting facings so they are on the outside instead of the inside and use contrasting fabric for the cuffs.

    Such a great sew along! Thank you for all your amazing tips and tricks ! I have had that pattern for quite some time but for some reason felt intimidated to sew it. Thought it was going to be difficult. And I have that exact fabric!, you have inspired me to make it. I might make mine a maxi dress?…💕

    Does having the open neck line help you put the dress on when there isn't a zip etc. or using a fabric with stretch. I recently made The Bettine from Tilly & The Button in a midi length using a cotton fabric and i struggled to get the dress one over my shoulders. I am a 10/12 dress size.
    I have been catch up with your videos tonight for ideas & sorting out my patterns and fabric stash as my friends and me are off to Craft4Crafters at Shepton Mallet Show Ground October 2023 Thanks for answering my ?? xxxx

    • @Beyondthepinkdoor
      @Beyondthepinkdoor  Год назад

      I don’t have any trouble getting the fringe dress over my head . I think the viscose fabric helps with this too . It’s light weight and has a little stretch due to the nature of viscose . Cotton fabric has little drape and is a thicker than viscose . Maybe you could try a Bettine in viscose ? I’ve only made the Bettine once & it was a double gauze which was lovely and easy to get on and off because it has its own built in stretch .
      Have fun planning . X
