Hi. Saw your Post in the Fb group. Is looking very nice but i think the brass one is matching the best. Or you tarnish the aluminium one to match the old magnesium finish.
Yeah the brass does look good. I think maybe the stainless is a little to shiny for the patina on the interior. I assume the brass will tarnish a bit naturally?
@@AtypicalDriverthe old magnesium one had like a dirty alu finish which was looking very nice. the brass one will oxidize and go bronw/greenish . You can prevent that with a clear coat of varnish. (Hairspray works nice aswell but is not waterproof)
@@j.t.8023 one thing about the brass is that the knobs wont match well....I suppose I could find new ones but I do like that these are part of the history of this car
