In my opinion, this is probably the best song you've made/been part of so far. I really enjoy the more energetic music along with the captivating lyrics, especially with the backups. Really impressive!

I just can't wait to play this expansion in particular, It's been quite some time since i've been this excited over a WoW expansion but this one just has a nostalgic feel to it like a return to the basics. It does help that I'm a huge dragons fan (the black and blue flights especially), so after seing some of the questlines available during alpha I was HOOKED. I also wanted to say that no hype would be complete without your songs to accompany it, I've been a huge fan of your work since the wotlk days and that's not going to change anytime soon. Continue doing what you do, here's to more success in your life !
Sounds like something in the style of "Within Temptation" mixed in with lyrics that fit right at home in a "Dragon"force song (pun fully intended!) So this get my stamp of approval as it fuses 2 of my favorite bands together!
When I composed the song, I was indeed inspired by Within Temptation (Silver Moonlight and Iron in particular). But when I wrote the lyrics, I had no specific inspiration, I just had a concept with Alexstrasza singing and only one question in mind: "What kind of words would inspire Sharm to sing on it?" (Plus the rhyme necessity). Anyway, I am happily surprised to have those lyrics compared to a DragonForce song, it feels rewarding 😁
Just listening to this sent chills, along with the video quite possibly rekindled the dragons flame once snuffed out. Your songs always have great emotion in them. Been enjoying the music you do since wrath. Hope you keep bringing harmony and symphony for many more years.

You're right, in the lyrics it is indeed Alexstrasza singing! 👍 But to be honest, I was not supposed to sing the backup vocals, and I really like your idea of having Kalec and Nozdormu officially singing, so let's say it's canonical and maybe Wrathion could be in there too 😜

Would be nice if the expansion would be as awesome as this song. Sadly, I don't think so, especially since they badly mishandled the Legion expansion (yes, I know that it was loved, but in my opinion it was mishandled). Great job with this song, though. Just wish it was longer. :)
Thanks Elora! Aww I personally loved the Legion xpac, along with TBC it was one of my faves. I really miss the artifact weapon and levelling it up to make it more powerful with that last trait. Wish so much we could have something like that back...
@@sharmsong Yeah, I know it was universally loved. Personally, I couldn't play it because of lore reasons. It was the freaking legion! It should have been even more epic than, for example WotLK - it should have been the most epic expansion ever. Hence, why it was a major disappointment for me. I also disliked the development of the classes. Alas... Their development of the yearly expansions is just sad. That's not how you handle a loved MMO. After they mishandled that expansion, I completely lost faith in Blizzard. Sadly, WoW is more or less dead to me. I find my fun elsewhere instead. I am glad that you still find your joy in that game, though. I wish I still did.
