I hate how he says he found a alien alloy somewhere else than the actual mission and gets disappointed when he can’t get the other mission items by exploring, even though it’s a material that you use to make upgrades while other missions give you a thing that gives you an item that doesn’t reoccur while a alien alloy is a material like aluminum. And he gets mad at the tedious gun play, while if you actually play the game you understand that you get upgrade that help you fight plus you slowly get better at aiming and understand better in hot to fight
If Borderlands has taught me anything it’s that guns and weird stories work well… soo what’s with IGN complaining about guns in this game and not in No Man’s Sky lol
I just picked this up from the game pass. About 4 hrs in. Feels more like Metroid prime and bio shock with borderlands humor. Which isnt bad by any means. Most games these days are repetitive. Like someone else stated the game gets more demanding the farther you get. And the explanation doesn't feel like a chore. I personally give it a 8.5 so far and it's only getting better for me
This game looks really fun i thought the review was ok but was confused when it got a 6 out of 10. I didn't feel like you explained enough about the problems with the game to justify the score of 6. Who am i kidding though i never take IGN's review seriously any more please hire some reviewers that are more thorough in their review.
I've always wondered whether price should be a factor in rating and reviewing games. Maybe instead of giving a number at the end, they should give a price that would be suitable for the game
I want the same quality as a full priced game, but would be ok with it only lasting about half the amount of time it would take to complete a full priced game before desiring to move on.
You can't go on and on how this game is amazing only to spend a few seconds on saying that you find enemies tedious and give this game a low rating. I'm not even sure why you find shooting enemies tedious. Couldn't you spend more time going over what you didn't like?
Way out of touch with gamers these days. At LEAST an 8/10 on this, especially for kids/younger teens and those who love coop games that have something for kids and adults. And it's only $26.99 if you pre-ordered

IGN: "Has Combat. 6/10"
ACG said buy so... 😔
ACG isn't always right. that's his opinion..
Mehdi Juventino Gaming HQ I trust ACG more than IGN
@@assyria89 he is most of the time but you are right
@@Baldie818 definitely
Does it have crossplay?
Bought it yesterday and I'm having a hard time putting it down.
Wish it had a VR support.
Remember they gave Warcraft Reforged a 7 and this got a 6. Think about that....
"Really makes you feel savage."
If Borderlands has taught me anything it’s that guns and weird stories work well… soo what’s with IGN complaining about guns in this game and not in No Man’s Sky lol
The only gun here is a miserable single shot pistol with 5 round magazine. Not fun or comparable to the great borderlands
I personally give it a 8.5 so far and it's only getting better for me
No subnautica reference?
No Man's Sky but it's Far Cry.
No Man's Cry then? ;)
Horizon zero dawn but it's plants vs zombies
This game not made by a big publisher=6 big publisher 9
It just looks bad
@@dextro3363 ....you must be color blind.
funny thing is, thats not even true. days gone and death stranding got 6s last year and disco Elysium got a 9. shut up
@@sans_bear yeah. That was pretty accurate though. If they would've given Death Stranding or Days Gone 9s then we would know they lost it lol.
Usually AAA games have bigger budget
This game looks really fun i thought the review was ok but was confused when it got a 6 out of 10. I didn't feel like you explained enough about the problems with the game to justify the score of 6. Who am i kidding though i never take IGN's review seriously any more please hire some reviewers that are more thorough in their review.
I’m watching this now because it is now free on Xbox full game and I’m impressed definitely downloading it to play for months
This review seemed oddly personal lol never heard such a harsh take on combat.
It's a $30 dollar game what more do you want?
I've always wondered whether price should be a factor in rating and reviewing games. Maybe instead of giving a number at the end, they should give a price that would be suitable for the game
I want the same quality as a full priced game, but would be ok with it only lasting about half the amount of time it would take to complete a full priced game before desiring to move on.
You can't go on and on how this game is amazing only to spend a few seconds on saying that you find enemies tedious and give this game a low rating. I'm not even sure why you find shooting enemies tedious. Couldn't you spend more time going over what you didn't like?
only problem is, you can't use your space ship to explore and fly off manually and land on other planets.
Saw a commercial of this game and it looked so fun! I think it’s a dollar with game pass! Ima play it this weekend.
Sees laser Guns...Stops video doesn't care what else is said ...buys game.
Spaceman, Spaceman! Hmm! Why you keep dying, spacemaaaaan!? xD
I feel like it’s too short and the fact that they made it so you have to buy the dlc for more story makes me a little mad
It's a $15 game
Way out of touch with gamers these days. At LEAST an 8/10 on this, especially for kids/younger teens and those who love coop games that have something for kids and adults. And it's only $26.99 if you pre-ordered
You gotta remember guys, the people who work at IGN are bone heads who worship anything from EA Sports most the time.
