Amazing tips bud, especially the sticky goo, died 5 or so times dealing with the mofo's that roll at you and you have to shoot the tail. Now, it makes perfect sense to use it, but back then I was Consumed with trying to dodge the rolling attack.
I generally have no patience anymore for invested games like this, but the humor and the quality/polish of this game made me stick to it like glue. I've enjoyed it very much
I figure out a few of this stuff. Specially the sticky and electricity things were very useful. I recommed using the electricity to deal with the enemies at the final boss otherwise it will be a bit harder than it has to.
When you throw the purple goo to keep them in place throw 2 bomb plants and it should kill them a lot faster. That way you dont have to worry about a weak spot with the rolly thing.
Something I've noticed with scanning is that you have to be within 150 meters for it to appear on your radar, or at least that the case with the collectible finder upgrades.
You can get out of that point of now return. It's a glitch to exploit. When you get to the 3rd floor down, die there. When you respawn in the capsule to break out of, turn to your right on the ledge. Right near it is a small square opening you will see showing outside. Press the button to squat and crawl outside this glitch area and fall. You will fall for a long time, just wait it out. Eventually the game will reset you back inside your ship. When you go back to the tower after this, you will not be reset on that progress. You will be able to jump down the hole 3 floors down.
I notice you were not using dodge when that dinosaur used itsspin attack on you. When you do it spins past you and stays there for a whole with its tail lights exposed .
Thank you for the tips. My gaming style is more stardew valley so this is a really big game for me, hahah and I find it challenging. Thank you for the tips. Super appreciate it.
Mostly yes, but not always. There are also some green cubes ( 3 i believe total ) that need fed rss to get the alloy inside them, and 2 or 3 in the chest like he had shown.
Is there a way to increase the FOV on PS4? I've been digging in the menus for a while now and I can't find a way to do it, I always feel motion sick when I play the game.
There is a trophy for completing the game within 4 hours. But it's not as bad cuz all you have to get is at least 5 fuel cells and you can finish the game quickly. There is no difficulty trophy at all
@@GamingWithAbyss Cool. I might get the game at some point when im not drowning in my current backlog. :P Keep doing what you're doing . Your videos are a big help. :)
I don't have an answer that because I was on PlayStation. Try underneath File Explorer and see if you can find the game. Or underneath where you're photos are. Sometimes it'll show up underneath recent files
As soon as my Brain slips out of my left Ear...i will do Speed Runs.....its soooo stupid, ok stupid Folks do it, but why do it too....its like habing the Idea of Speed-Sex.....who would do it?????
I was never much a fan of speedrunning growing up, but I've come to appreciate it as a different approach to gaming. When someone decides to speedrun, it's usually because they've already taken the slow approach multiple times, soaked in the dialogues, beauty, and gameplay of the game and loved all of it. However, they also want to push the game to its limit and see how hard it pushes back. Speedrunning, despite looks, is a gamer demonstrating a deeper understanding of the gameplay aspects of a game. More casual speedrunning, like the "under 4 hours" achievement in Journey to the Savage Planet, requires knowledge of where to go to unlock upgrades, and where to gather the resources quickly to build them. Knowledge of how to push through required fights quickly is also handy for staying below the time limit. More advanced speedrunning, i.e. competitive speedruns to see who can get the lowest time overall, demonstrate knowledge of how to break the game. Tricks and exploits that weren't intended to work how they do by the developers come into play, sequences (parts of the game that are meant to be done in an A->B order, like needing the shock fruit upgrade to do Sochi's Trial) are broken, and sometimes entire chunks of the game end up skipped. While I don't tend to participate at that level, I do appreciate the levels of dedication people who are big into the speedrunning community put towards finding and exploiting new tricks to shave off those precious seconds for their "perfect run," and I personally enjoy seeing if I can beat my favorite games, like Spyro 1, Crash 2, and even Journey to the Savage Planet, in a single afternoon. It's an additional little layer of pressure on you that makes the whole experience a little more thrilling. Rather than compare it to sex, I'd say it's more comparable to bumper cars and roller coasters; both are fun, neither really matter at the end of your day, but the roller coaster is going to be a lot more intense, over faster, and built around speed. Not bad, just different. If you don't want to speedrun, nobody's making you (except the developers in small segments of games sometimes, like A Hat in Time's Seal the Deal). Plenty of people enjoy it though. Hope this makes their reasoning a bit clearer. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Yeah they can be annoying to dodge plus trying to shoot the tail at the same time. So the goo and shock work very well against them
I wish this game was 2 times longer
Yeah that would have been nice

In a Speedrun you could spam slap to skip the eat animation on the orangre goo.
I accidentaly pulled that off yesterday.
When you throw the purple goo to keep them in place throw 2 bomb plants and it should kill them a lot faster. That way you dont have to worry about a weak spot with the rolly thing.
Or just test them at the creatures with the second upgrade for it without them knowing and the instantly die
Yeet not test
The guys with weak tails are vulnerable to explosions too. And later on you can stomp on them.
Something I've noticed with scanning is that you have to be within 150 meters for it to appear on your radar, or at least that the case with the collectible finder upgrades.
I can't remember but I believe there is a skill you can get later on that will help you locate them on the map
@@GamingWithAbyss Yes that's what I'm talking about. Theres 3 different ones for all main items
There is going to be a sequel??
just 100%ed this the other day lol didn't take very long but it was pretty fun all the way through.
yeah this is a hidden game that's pretty good
@@GamingWithAbyss so true. The humor and gameplay is great. The hidden messages are insane as well lol.
yeah the humor is great there's another game that similar to like this called in Immortal Fenyx Rising that has some good humor
U can zip jump when u use ur grapple hock press L1 and press X before u reach the end of the grapple it's useful try it

This is at least true on Xbox version.
Love this game. Thanks for the video
No problem!
I notice you were not using dodge when that dinosaur used itsspin attack on you. When you do it spins past you and stays there for a whole with its tail lights exposed .
Very helpful, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Actually for the point of no return, just close the game entirely and you wake up in the javelin. So you can do anything before you beat Teretomo.
I didnt know the use of binding bile! Thanks!
yeah it's definitely useful in certain situations
These tips were helpful af.. Farming..
good to hear
I got that secret area without the jump thruster

you're welcome and good luck
Thank you. Very helpful.
you're welcome and good luck
I wish i knew i could use certain items to defeat the enemies with weak spots earlier. Played this game with so much frustration
Playing it on Game Pass right now!
Yea we need a longer story
Everybody says it'll either begin with combat or vault
Isn't it always combativore or vaultivore
Mostly yes, but not always. There are also some green cubes ( 3 i believe total ) that need fed rss to get the alloy inside them, and 2 or 3 in the chest like he had shown.

Don’t smack that horned bird unless you’re ready for it to explode
Sometimes pufferbird alphas just get pissed when you offset a blade of grass
I played this game with my cousin and we both gasped when we saw the world
yeah they definitely did a good job
How do you activate that light bulb thing thats at 6:18
You don't its like a travel log that you scan
When you say "speedrun', does that mean there is a trophy for a timed run, or is it a difficulty trophy?
There is a trophy for completing the game within 4 hours. But it's not as bad cuz all you have to get is at least 5 fuel cells and you can finish the game quickly. There is no difficulty trophy at all

ROOOAAAR
Can you only die 50 times in this game
you can die more than 50 but they should have made a secret hidden death scene or something when you die 50 times
Gaming with Abyss
I just saw a video on it
unless they changed something but I my first playthrough I was counting my death and I hit over 50. when I played it was before launch
Gaming with Abyss
Maybe in old game minus it does something but in the normal version it just lets you keep playing

you only want to do a speed run for the trophy or achievement other than that you don't need to do one. your analogy is very funny though
I was never much a fan of speedrunning growing up, but I've come to appreciate it as a different approach to gaming.
