Loved the pics you did get but shame you missed the sunset. As you so rightly say, you win some, you lose some - the joys of the Landscape Photographer! Enjoy the new tripid - looks like a goodun.
I had a vanguard veo 235ab travel tripod, after 3 years its still going strong. But i wanted something stronger and lighter so i brought a 3 legged thing punks BRIAN carbon tripod. Ive had it 5 months and so far all is good its very stable with my A7iii and 70-200f4 with lee filters on.,
Defiantly made the best of them dull grey skies mate 🤠👍 gutted for you that you missed that epic sky! Like you say some you loose some you win! That’s landscape photography dude
Beautiful video and beautiful pictures, thank you so much that you have such a beautiful coastline, here in Belgium you have a fully built coast line, so successful and I keep following you. Greetings from Rudy from Schoten at Antwerp Belgium.
Josh Glaister hey dude! Well there is a lot of mixed reviews on the 24-70f4 zeiss. People saying it’s soft etc.. I think it’s phenomenal.. maybe I got a good one.. but it’s a fantastic lens!!! 24mm is wide enough for me, I’m not fussed on the super wide stuff.. and I have the 70-200f4 which is also a incredible lens!
@@BenKapurPhotography Thanks you ! Yeah I've seen the reviews and I'm sat on the fence due to it being split opinion. I could always send it back if I'd doesn't work very well. I have to see about that, Being that it's a Zeiss brand it should be good. I'll take it from you my friend, thank you for all the info. Getting so close now 🙏🏼
Hi Ben, when you took the lighthouse image, where exactly were you focussing? The lighthouse, I assume but the rocks in the foreground are super sharp.
Ian Fox yeah focus on the lighthouse. Yeah they are and it’s just the lens budd. I used a 24-70f4 zeiss. I absolutely love it! It’s soooo Sharp!! There’s a lot of mixed reviews about it though.. but I think it’s flawless! Thanks man!
Nice video, but why is it that every review I've watched about this tripod fails to show the stability of the centre column when extended? I've watched similar videos on the Manfrotto 055, and I've seen that unit's centre column extended and manipulated to illustrate its stability. Can you do a follow-up where you demonstrate the actual stability of the Vanguard tripod while using the centre column? It is a design feature of the product, so unless it can be shown in action, without any play, or wobble, the review isn't really complete, in my opinion. Cheers.
I have it, it is a bit wobbly, Ive used it with 30 second exposures on a 10 seconds and its tack sharp though. It probably cant take too much wind IMO, but otherwise fine
very cool...what brand is the L bracket you are using.

david ball absolutely! The last image was okay.. but would have been so much better if I was 5 minutes earlier.
Hi! Would you mind the difference between Pro 2 vs Pro 2 Plus?
Nice on mate.....unlucky with the light but you got the best of it I think. I’m thinking of a vanguard bag but undecided.
PhotoNinja yeah I have the vanguard Alta sky 45d and it’s awesome! Fits all of my gear in it!
Great video Ben. I might have to look into that tripod as i stepped on mine the other day and snapped the leg
Ah no! Really!! That’s such a shame! Yeah Josh it’s really good! Really strong too! No issues with it! I love it!

NO thanks Ben
Awesome Video. As I will maybe be entering the Alpha World, would you suggest that the Zeiss 24-70 is a perfect lens, Or something else?
