I had the coupe in the same colour, bordeaux red and silver birch roof.
    Hand painted coachlines on it.
    It was stunning.
Infact, i was included in the Top Gear show at the NEC Birmingham in 1993.
It was originally from Penrith. It was EAO 875K on the front ( the digits were soldered onto the plates) and on the rear it was EAO 578K.
It ran from 1972 until 1993 until it was noticed.....i never changed it either.
I wish id have hung onto it ❤❤

Had a p5b coupe with 55,000 miles on it and complete history from day one. Brilliant car. This one needs a lot of work.

@@TheClockwise770 had it for around 12 years but it wasnt getting used enough. Regretted selling it for a very long time afterwards.

The roof colour is wrong: I think only coupes had the contrast roof colour. Saloons like this had a matching roof.

Always fancied a big Rover , but trouble is there was always a big Humber Super Snipe or Imperial in the way ,and they are better value than the Rover's , better equiped , more luxurious and made at Rolls Royce coachbuilders Thrupp and Maberley .
