At the same time you may underestimate Josh's ability to make bad decisions. With it being very run heavy when he tries to force something and gets picked those holes he goes superman to pull you out of half the time he puts you in the situation and now he doesn't have as good of a pass game to catch back up. To be an effective run first team they will need good clock management and game control that I don't think McDermott can handle consistently nor josh to hold back with less opportunities to throw to not make a game costing mistake@@TheBottomLineView

He has finally taken play calling responsibilities from Kafka, so this should be different from last year. Our line was historically bad in 2023, so even a slight increase in their play is going to open up things. Our offense was hurt last year, where QB1, LT1, RB1 and TE1 (basically WR1) played 60 snaps together all year. So going from last year's performance is pretty pessimistic. For crying out loud, we won 3 games including against GB with a UDFA rookie QB3. This year we will have a alpha WR in Nabers, Wan'dale is one more year removed from ACL surgery, the speed in our WR room will be deadly. So if Jones and OL will play adequately, we will do good. But we've been shit for so long so results are all that matter.

You're right the 9ers have the best offense in the league therefore Purdys life is super easy. Purdy doesn't have to do much but not turn the ball over. If you put him on a team like Jacksonville that team would go 8-9 every year. His teammates may like him but he's not great skill wise he doesn't have that strong of an arm his accuracy is good tho I'll give him that. This dude said he'll win MVP you're telling me he'll win it over Mahomes Lamar Allen Hurts or Stroud you're on that meth boy. Lamar won it last year without weapons. Purdy is overhyped by the fans. He is a system QB at this point in his career. Couldn't disagree more. If Purdy doesn't bust off those 3 huge runs vs Detroit and throw nearly perfect in the 2nd half in the championship game, SF loses. EVERY QB needs help to succeed, but Purdy can absolutely play.
