Finally a fully comprehensive list of O-line strength for all 32 teams, something that usually stops at #5 in many other lists because that is how far people are willing to care about OL since it is not a flashy position to talk about. Great job!
As a NYG fan I can't say you're wrong, but I want to give some feedback on the analysis. You prefaced everything with emphasis on chemistry and cohesion. Well the 2023 Giants were a dumpster fire on all areas. AT got hurt, the guards were constantly changing, stability came with Pugh straight from the couch. I don't think it's fair so be too harsh on JMS. OL takes time to learn and he had a horrible hand dealt. Neal is out until TBD and thankfully Eluemunor only suffered bruised ribs so he should be our starting RT. So the line is unproven but with the new OL coach who made UDFAs serviceable, there is some hope we could be at least average this year. Which bring us to our old OL coach, who piloted us to 85 allowed sacks in 2023, the second most in history. The Commanders were 2nd with 65 but guess who Quinn hired to coach their OL. Football terrorist Bobby Johnsons, our coach from last year. So good luck Commander fans and Jayden Daniels, I am very afraid for you
Five guys on an offensive line. The ‘9ers remind me of my grade school intramural basketball league. The “Navy Blue” team had one kid who was huge and athletic - like Trent Willians - and it didn’t matter who else was on the court, they were unstoppable.
My Bengals protecting Joe Burrow behind a top ten O-line?! Wahoo! 😃. I’m gonna Gronk spike that Like button TWICE (okay, three times, because, you know 😏)
So after the offensive line failed to actually get Sam Howell killed, the Commanders recruited a veteran assassin who nearly put Daniel Jones on ice last year. (He left a wise guy named Tommy DeVito to try to finish the job). Howell escaped to Seattle, so now it’s a rookie in his crosshairs. I’m guessing it’s something personal with guys named Daniels.
I’m a die hard Bengals fan. Jonah Williams graded better at LT than RT. In 2021 at LT he graded at 73.7. Last year at RT he graded at 64.4. But in 2022 at LT he graded at 62.6. His first year he missed because he was hurt. His rookie year of 2019 he missed. In 2020 he played 10 games at LT and graded at 71. In college at Bama he played RT as a freshman and LT as a sophomore and junior and was 1st team All American at LT. 2nd team All American at RT. Jonah is really smart. He scored a 39 on the wonderlic test. He could play any position in the line if asked to. He is a team player. I think in Arizona he is going to flourish. The AFC North is the hardest division to play offensive tackle because 3 of the top 5 edge rushers live here. Garrett, Watt, and Hendrickson. And you also have Zadarius Smith and after this season people are going to be saying yea they got Myles Murphy and Joseph Ossai too because I’m telling you now both of those guys are going to explode this year for the Bengals. Ossai is going to have a Bryce Huff kind of breakout year and price himself out of Cincinnati. If I’m the Bengals I would cut Sam Hubbard before I let Ossai leave. Sam is a great great run defender and gets 50-60 pressures a year and is a better pass rusher than he is given credit for but Joseph Ossai is a freak of nature and God doesn’t make many people with his athletic gifts. Myles Murphy is a 1st round pick out of Clemson going into his second year and he was impressive last year. He played 300 snaps and had 20 tackles and 3 sacks. He wasn’t drafted to be a starter YET. He showed up for training camp and all that baby fat he had on him, because he had just turned 21 last year, is gone. He looks chiseled from stone. Looks like get gained about 5-10 poiunds of pure muscle. He is 6’5’’ 270-275 and runs 4.51. Need I say more. He is going to destroy people this year.
Before I watched this I was like he better have my falcons in the top 3. We may not be good at everything else but our oline is one of the best it’s been for awhile now
Correction: The Commanders did not allow the most sacks in the NFL. The Giants did and it wasn't close--85 sacks to 65 sacks. The Commanders and Panthers both allowed 65 sacks which was tied for second worse in the NFL. The stat you may have been thinking of when you said the Commanders allowed the most sacks is that Sam Howell was sacked 65 times which was more than any other QB in the NFL. The Giants divided their 85 sacks amongst 3 QBs (Daniel Jones, Tyrod Taylor, Tommy Devito) and the Panthers divided their 65 sacks amongst two QB's (Bryce Young and Andy Dalton), by contrast all 65 sacks of the Commanders were of Howell, making him the most sacked QB in the NFL. I mostly agree with your analysis of the Commanders line. On paper 29th seems right. Due to injuries they could perform better or worse than they appear on paper as some O-Lines that appear better on paper could get decimated by injuries, but on paper 29th seems right
All 5 of the Bengals starting linemen last year played every single snap. They missed no games they literally all played every offensive snap last year. That’s pretty crazy. LT Orlando Brown Jr has never missed a game in his career. LG Cordell Volson is going into his 3rd year and he hasn’t missed a game yet either. Center Ted Karras hasn’t missed a snap since he got to Cincinnati. RG Alex Cappa has missed I think 3 over the last 2 years so very little. RT Jonah Williams played every game last year and in 2021 and missed a couple of games in 2022. But he is gone. Trent Brown will probably miss at least a handful of games but we have a failsafe because we drafted a tackle in round 1 who I would t feel uncomfortable starting on day 1. Amarius Mims is not raw just inexperienced. His technique is almost perfect and his strength is unmatched. This is the best offensive line that Burrow has had since he left LSU. And people thing Cordell Colson at LG is the weakest link. Maybe the last 2 years but we have seen steady improvement from him the last 2 years. He is tough as nails and strong as hell. In his rookie year he graded at 53.3 and his second year he graded at 59.1. Clear improvement. There was a 6 game span last year where he allowed no pressures 1 hit and 0 sacks. He had a rough 1st half of the year but the second half after Burrow went down he looked like a different player. He is made of the right stuff. He is as tough as they come. He reminds me of an old hockey player. He is from North Dakota and in the summer when he wasn’t in school he spent doing manual labor outside in the elements. If he can get his play up to say 67 then that would be just fine.
The Saints have no left guard. Andrus Peat was their LG and he left in free agency. So we have Penning at LT who knows at LG McCoy at Center Ruiz at RG and Fuaga at RT. Ramzcheck isn’t playing this year and is probably retiring. James Hurst was a good LT or LG but he retired about 2 months ago.
I’m a Saints fan. I’m from Louisiana. The Bengals are my team but I still love the Saints. I just don’t love the coaching staff or what they have been doing for the past 4 years. They really should be last on this list. Reason being is Ryan Ramzcheck isn’t just on the pup list but he has been ruled out this season. Meaning he is not playing this season. And there is talk of retirement. He has 0 cartilage in one if his knees. They can do a lot with surgery what they can’t do is add cartilage to the knee. Ramzcheck is done. Again he is not playing this year and I predict he will retire before the season starts. You must not have read the report. I’m a falcons fan. I hate the saints. One of the longest rivalries in the NFL. But what the saints are doing won’t win them a ring anytime soon. Ryan Ramzcheck is NOT playing this year. He had been ruled out. I got a report from ESPN about a week ago. He will probably retire. Again Ramzcheck IS NOT PLAYING THIS SEASON! So Fuaga can play his right tackle position. But the Saints have no left tackle either. James Hurst retired and Ramzcheck is also done. They have Trevor Penning a 1st round pick who so far has been a bust. Saints have a good center AND THATS IT! They payed their Right Guard Ceaser Ruiz because he was a 1st round pick and because they had no one else to play that position. Ruiz is average on a good day but is generally a below average player. He played Center at Michigan so that may be his problem. NFL teams have a bad habit of drafting a college player who only played one position in college and playing them at multiple positions. Lots of good college tackles got shoved into playing guard and that ruins their career. Same thing with center. Ruiz might have been a good NFL center but he never got the chance to play there. Guard is all he had played I. The NFL.
Really you think froholdt was a below average Center what drugs are you on he started all 17 games and only allowed three sacks you are about Goofy and that is why he is still our starting center Evans can't even beat him out

The NFL.
@@NathanDean79 he hasnt been ruled out for the entire season. Just the start?

Why you so damn loud mitch, you have a mic in front of you chill
You’re the only one complaining brother! Idk?
Really you think froholdt was a below average Center what drugs are you on he started all 17 games and only allowed three sacks you are about Goofy and that is why he is still our starting center Evans can't even beat him out
This list is a joke Whiners are not the 13 th best offensive line not even close they should be between 20-24and the Jets offensive line was terrible last year and now they’re the 8th best offensive line come on dude, the Rams upgraded their offensive line and they should at about the 8th best offensive line easily, I have seen many offensive line rankings from PFF to other rankings and the Whiners offensive line was rated anywhere from 20 to 26 so I don’t get how you have them at 13 , they have Trent Williams and Banks and the rest of the line is average at best 😆🤣😂
The niners were the best run blocking line in the nfl. They returned everyone and added a mid round draft pick who might start plus added 2 solid veteran players for depth. They are at least top half
@@TheBottomLineViewI don’t think so bro, they are Top 10 at run blocking but pass blocking they were terrible probably quarter bottom, the highest I have seen them rated was 18 th which was last year 😂
Thumbnail ain’t it bro 😂
Why
Did you seriously just call James Connor James cook or am I crazy?
