Question for you... I'm a US size 11 and have just purchased a large set of Nitro Teams. Do I need to adjust the heelcup to large given the binding is already large or am I a small on a large binding given they go up to size 14? I'm a bit confused..
I have the exact same question right now, I too have a size 11 for a large binding. Although, it seems you haven't gotten an answer here, what did you end up setteling on?
@@malte9430 you have perfect timing - I just rode mine for the first time today. I was out with a pro and he said that basically you want your boot completely in the centre of the binding once it’s done up. My boots were slightly too far forward today on the factory setting so I’ll adjust the heel cup tonight… only by a small amount though. Just make sure your boot is sitting square on the base - you could just put the boot in by itself and eyeball it.
Same issue with medium. 8.5 shoe which puts me at M according to this video. But my toe hangs out more than heal and im at the end of my toe strap adjustment and have to greatly extend the toe plate, while his size 9 just puts it out a little..
Your boots need to be centered.. simple, and obviously.. so if that means your heels hang over the board and your toes are not even over the edge, your sure are standing to way to far behind, vice versa..
Long time Nitro binding rider here. Had some limited edition Nitro Raidens back in the day... Actually still use em in the park. Anyhoo, just watched this to confirm how to move the heel cup in and out and I gotta say........ Those screws concern me. I loosened them enough to move the cup, but they do not screw normally. They... Pop. It's the only way I can describe it. They pop as you screw / unscrew. And as I unscrewed them, metal shavings fell out onto my board. Everything is moved and they seem tight again (with similar poppage tightening them), but I'm less than impressed and somewhat concerned for my safety. Do my bindings have a problem? Did I do something wrong (followed this video exactly... It's just loosening 4 screws, inside first). Help?
May be of different cause. Incompatible materials being used.. the react on each other get stuck and now strip your nuts.. or they were placed croocked and now you have to force them out with lots of force. If possible replaceable, do before you truly trip them or you will have to strip n destory them next time you want to adjust them.
The most useful biding adjustment video I've found!
Thank you!
I have some new team pro bindings and this doesn't show how the forward lean adjustment works on those, they are different than the video
