If you don't have it yet, come to the Texas oil fields (make great money/38 years!) and you'll get it (thick skin) quick!!! BTW, I did enjoy the first few with SB's and Dallas 1-16!
We won't know anything until the season starts. I believe that the team will win more games and be competitive but not make the playoffs. As long as there's improvement that's the main thing.
Am I confused? Sounded like he was putting all of the WRs stats on Forbes and Forbes didn’t play most of those games… so what’s happening with that narrative.
can we stoptalking about lasat season we already have ptsd with out you rubbing it in! this is pure loser talk. JEFF is a real one, im only listening to jeff from now on! hail jeff
Edge play can easily be better. 99 was athletically gifted but positions have jobs to do. He never did his job, D ends need to set the edge and contain the pocket. Not speed rush 12 yards into the backfield. Soon as Allen or Payne collapsed the pocket there was always a wide open lane for the QB to escape because he refused to play with the team
I watched the videos of Forbes being burned in the article, but what amazed me was how bad Forrest was in coverage. Forbes couldn't tackle and Forrest seemed to quit, like he wanted nothing to do with tackling. Between them and Young, no wonder we couldn't stop the run. I remember Jackson 3 didn't want to tackle. I think JDR was teaching them flag football.
If, that's a BIG IF, you're old enough, you would KNOW Deon Sanders was afraid to tackle, and was HORRIBLE at it... BTW, I work/friends with the uncle of a WFT starting DB. They hated their coach, and said he consistently had them in the wrong D!
Been a fan since G Allen days. I was actually at a game when we played SF and it was Sanders, Bruce Smith and a third guy I don't recall anymore we had signed in the offseason. Smith was the only one productive, and Sanders was a joke.
I don't care what these other people say n doesn't bother me. When we start winning we can shut them all that!! Love a good laugh n sarcasm even bout my team n myself!!
Until you see a change, you would be a fool to believe anything else until it happens. Personally I believe it has to get better, because what we saw last year had to be the absolute worse.
Dan Quinn only had 2 winning seasons after coaching 6 as a head coach. He had Matt Ryan. Jimmy Kempski makes sense. The linebacker, safety, and tight end groups improved. I don't think Luke Mccaffrey is better than Curtis Samuel. Our corners and offensive line haven't improved. Jacoby Brissett is better than Jayden Daniels and Marcus Marriotta. The roster has improved minimally. It comes down to great coaching. We will see.
I want them to aquire Aiyuk because I do not think Dotson is a legitimate number 2 WR. I don't believe for one second that Forbes is or will ever be a starting caliber cornerback. Those two Rivera era picks will be considered busts after this season, assuming they even make the team. Corner is a major concern for me right now, and unless the Commanders pass rush is just lights out, I can see them giving up big chunks of yardage at critical moments in games all year long.
Won’t be a dumpster fire but won’t be on fire either if I had to guess it’ll be somewhere in the middle coaching is a lot of the reason why we were terrible last year we upgraded at coaching minus the Oline coaching which I agree with his point on and I also agree on his point about the OT position the secondary is going to be better just off the strength of better coaches that includes Forbes to my knowledge Forbes is more of a man corner and we played more zone with Rivera it’s the same mistake we made with William Jackson III he said DQ feels familiar to Rivera and I felt that way until I saw him assemble his staff Ron hired his buddies that was a mistake Dan has hired proven people for the most part he brought up our Defensive line being the 1 thing teams had to worry about half of it is gone so I’ll say I agree with that partially if Johnny Newton is what he’s advertised as then I disagree with that point because that will allow Daron and Jon to play less snaps so they don’t burn themselves out as fast he brings up the ages of Zach Ertz Austin Ekler Bobby Wagner and Marcus Mariota we already know Zach is old that’s why Adam Peters only signed him for a year he’s here to bring the youngins along Bobby Wagner led the league in tackles last year and set a career high in tackles in a season even if he doesn’t hit that mark or surpass it if he even comes close to that that’s better than any LB we had here since London Fletcher East Austin Ekler isn’t the number 1RB here like he was in LA he’s gonna be our change of pace back and Marcus Mariota isn’t the starter and even if he was his age is irrelevant due to him being a QB 31 for a QB isn’t old especially one that’s not supposed to start here he was brought in to help with Jayden’s development they both were heisman winners picked at number 2 and can run and expected to turn Franchises around Marcus can teach Jayden how to handle that since he’s been there done that he compares Jayden being drafted to Trey Lance who didn’t play nearly the same amount of competition as Jayden and to my knowledge Adam Peters didn’t want Trey Lance he said Jamin was a bust I blame coaching on that more than Jamin’s ability in Jamin’s rookie season they overloaded his brain with making him the Mike when he was a Will in College to my knowledge when Jamin doesn’t have to think he’s fine he’s also good at rushing the passer which is why they’re trying this Micah Parsons type role and if it works to me he won’t be a bust he just was being played out of position which is on coaching he brought up Dwayne Haskins (RIP) who was a bust but picked by Snyder because he was friends with his son Gruden didn’t want him especially going into a win or you’re fired year Chase was a bust more concerned with the lifestyle football provides than his craft but some of his struggles were also coaching too we never did anything exotic with him. We never dropped him back into covers at all. We never lined him up on the same side as sweat or switched him to the opposite side he says Jahan maybe a bust I don’t think he is. Jahan is having the same problem. Terry is having Jahan has played with Carson, Wentz, Taylor, Heinicke, Sam, Howell, and Jacoby Brissett all since being in the league Since 2022 And coming into this season, he will have Jayden Daniels and potentially but hopefully not Marcus Mariota that’s 5 and possibly 6 different qbs That he’s had to adjust to this isn’t Madden chemistry between receivers and quarterbacks matter in the real world also last year with EB at OC His philosophy was Run whatever I scheme up, Instead of trying to get the best players on the team involved I know a lot of people in this fanbase wanted Chris Olave over Jahan but Jahan has 11 tds in his career to Chris’s 9 ijs he brought up us having to cut our kicker and that hurts, but there was no way to predict that he would be a freak and his 10th reason which Was typically Dan Snyder is still the owner was changed to we still have the stink Of Dan Snyder Which is nitpicky at best Josh Harris hasn’t owned the team a year yet it’s unrealistic and impossible to expect new ownership to automatically fix nearly 25 years of dysfunction in less than a year
Look, we had a bad team....like a REALLY BAD team. Now they have done a good job this offseason IMO, they have thrown A LOT of bodies at this rebuild so far, so I will wait and see what shakes loose in training camp. I just wanted our team to be professional, not to be that automatic W on everyone else's calendar, if we get that, I am a happy fan!!! HTTC!!!
The entire secondary got touched. Forbes got benched and injured. The reason Forbes was drafted was because of the poor secondary so the point you’re trying to make is pointless. Ron and Jack were horrible coaches for this organization during the entire time they were here. To blame a rookie instead of those coaches is lame. I’m not saying there weren’t things Forbes needed to work on but for him to have been thrown under the bus like countless others have during the Ron Rivera regime is idiotic in my opinion.
Your audio is way better. I appreciate you listening to the fans, JP.
its good to have a healthy dose of skepticism. need to grow some thick skin if you want to be a WFT fan.

Can't compare them to last year other then a couple remaining players everything else is different

Lost ($1,000) going the Over 6.5 wins + (+325) last season, think I'll take the 7.5 Under this year..!!

We gotta stop shitting on Forbes man it’s getting tiring

New ownership.... new coaching.... heavy player turnover.... rookie QB. Fill in the blanks for what is the likely outcome will be for these realities.
