THE CAST: Chevy Chase as Gerald Ford, Dan Aykroyd as Jimmy Carter, Jim Carrey as Ronald Reagan, Dana Carvey as George Bush Sr. ; Darrell Hammond as Bill Clinton, Will Ferrell as George Bush Jr. with Fred Armisen as Barrack Obama and Maya Rudolph as Michelle Obama. WOW! How they get them all together for this one skit is just truly amazing in itself. Kudos!
We will never get this gathering of talent ever again
Ron Howard was the director, that’s how they got so much talent together in this short film.
Jim Carrey, Dana Carvey, Will Farrell, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd all doing one skit together. Pretty incredible 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, funniest people montage.
Dana Carvey is so much better than all of them as Bush it's tragic. Phil Hartman should have been Clinton
You forgot Darrel Hammond!
Wicked combo.
The caricatured George H W Bush accent is the funniest thing ever. And Will Ferrell gets all of Bush 43's mannerisms so well it kills me.
Dana Carvey has always been the best Bush senior impersonator.
Watch Will's Bush on Broadway
Even Bush Sr. himself loved Carvey's impersonation.
WTF? How did this only get 1.6m views? I mean, this deserves at least 50m....
because it's not funny?
It was on their website for several years before it ever got uploaded here (CFPB passed in 2010), so that's where a lot of its views originally went.
"I'm the ghost of Dick Cheney."
Lmao, does Cheney even have a soul or spirit?
I thought he died but I was wrong
He has a soul, but you have mistaken it for that cold dead look in his eyes
@@whoknowswhocares885 he got a heart transplant
go fuck himself
@@presidentgeorgewbush7774 ya it’s made out of Legos 😂
Jim Carrey drifting across the room is gold 😂😂
How did they do that?
@@pendafen7405 He's just walking really quickly while not taking too long of a stride per foot, the camera being shot above his legs then gives the illusion that he's drifting, if you look closely you can see he's just shuffling across basically, I love it 🤣
An actor named Chevy playing a president named Ford XD
Son of a...
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Chevy played a Ford that wasn’t a Lincoln.
I’m so impressed they got Chevy. I didn’t think he’d show up. What a nice twist.
And they had him do a fall too! Classic Chevy!
The irony is that Both Rudolph and Jim Carrey would eventually join snl to play Joe Biden and Kamala Harris
carrey made a *phenomenal* reagan, but i still miss phil hartman. :(
Phil Hartman's Bill Clinton was better
Hartman’s Clinton is the definitive depiction of early Bill Clinton, but Hammond’s nails the man he was in his second term.
BACK TO WORK!!!
@@BrendanJSmith thats a tough one ... the MCDonalds one with him was awesome, but the Reagan where he's secretly a genius and manages everyone was just soo soooooo good.
I think Carey was there to pay homage to Hartman
This was awesome. They even had Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, and Dana Carvey to reprise their impressions of Ford, Carter, and Bush, Sr. So much comedic talent in one segment.
Finally I saw Will Ferrel and Jim Carrey in one joke
They were in an SNL skit before
The original night at the the Roxbury skit.
What is love
JUMOWA , me too
They were both in Anchorman two together
Daryll Hammond playing Bill Clinton is the best impersonation to me.
Agreed
Yes it is! But Jim Carrey's impersonation of Ronald Reagan is not faraway either.
Didn't see Reagan coming. Nice job Jim Carey!
jim carrey, dan ackroyd, chevy chase, will ferrell, and dana carvey for the win
Don't forget Darrell Hammond
PaulPlaysMinecraft is that Ron Howard doing the closing voice over?
Mckenzie .Latham i want them around me when im dying...i might actually reverse into living again.
Who was Chevy Chase meant to be?
Rudy Overlord now the falling makes sense! 😂
Do me a favor and dont tell chaney i was here
Can I be ambassador to cancun?
Am I dead or alive?
Nothin wrong with one term Barack
It’s going to be hard no one said it was going to be easy
Grow some nuts for the Gipper
they could make a whole movie with this cast playing the presidents. I WANT MORE
That second term of yours was a real Victory Lapper Dubbers
Jim Carrey did a kickass job filling in for the late Phil Hartman whom we all know is irreplaceable. Jim Carrey had big shoes to fill for this sketch, IMHO. R.I.P. Phil
Who is Phil Hartman
@@lylahsworld3930SNL actor and the voice of some characters in The Simpsons
When "Bush Sr" calls "Obama" *Borat* I lost it 😂
And then Babaar..
Babaar lol
Am l the only who understood and lost it when Reagan said "There you go again"?
I understood it too
It's a reference to his reply to jimmy carter during the presidential debate for the 1980 election
Walter Mondale*
Ochoaj300 no, jimmy carter
RetroGuy76 I know, but ochaj is saying he never said it to carter
"Can i be ambassador to Cancun? LOL!!!
What makes it even funnier is that Cancun isn't even a country but a city in Mexico... you can't be ambassador to just one city
I just realized that Obama can be portrayed by either a black man or a white man. The man is a biracial angel just like Jeter.
and yet even being half balck is too much for white republicans.
Portrayed by a Latino man! Now we only need an Asian in there.
John Nycto Technically Armisen is also Asian
"I'm the ghost of Dick Chaney" hahahahaha!
"Can I be Ambassador to Cancun?" or "Grow some nuts for the Gipper." - which is funnier?
Cancun
Jim Carrey is great, but this video just makes me sad that Phil Hartman is no longer with us to play Reagan.
"tag you're it" is an accurate representation of his presidency. he really got the short end of the stick.
No its not.
@@kordellswoffer1520 Yes it is. 🤣
@@Wis_Dom no it's not.
Anyone complaining about who's portraying who is missing one of the in-jokes of the video... they're all SNL portrayals (except Reagan, who was portrayed by the late Phil Hartman on SNL)
Ford - Chevy Chase
Carter - Dan Aykroyd
Reagan - Jim Carrey (filling in for Hartman)
Bush Sr. - Dana Carvey
Clinton - Darrell Hammond
Bush Jr. - Will Ferrell
Obama - Fred Armisen (who was their Obama at the time (2010) - he was replaced by Jay Pharaoh 2 years after this was made)
***** Randy Quaid, Charles Rocket, Harry Shearer and Joe Piscopo also did Reagan on SNL.
One mistake..... There is no Jimmy Carter...That is Dick Cheney ( Former Vice President)
Андрей Кулагин Incorrect. Aykroyd was Jimmy Carter.
Jordan Peele plays the best Obama
GENIUS!! Dana Carvey's George Bush Sr. has always been classic.
"Can I be ambassador to cancun" - Bill Clinton
Would have been perfect if Jordan Peele played Obama instead
it was before his time
Hes too black for Barry. Also fred wins over him any day
He's madtv alum not snl
So how about Jay Pharaoh?! Ohh wait, I assume he’s too dark to play Barack too! 🤨 LOVE Fred Armisen! His Obama is weak!
@@trevingaffney9187 Jay Pharaoh was already doing Obama on SNL while they were making this. This was meant to be a celebration of the SNL alumni who played Presidents
"Grow some nuts for the gipper", I died after hearing this.
While I liked Darell Hammond's Clinton, I couldn't help but think "Phil Hartman should really be here doing his awesome Clinton impression." The world is much less funny without him.
+LordoftheJimmy If Hartman was alive, he'd be doing Reagan in this.
yeah, but nowhere near as well as Carey
@@sharpasaneraser - check out the Reagan Mastermind skit. You might re-think your statement after that. Carrey was very good, but I think Hartman had the look along with the voice. Hartman's the only guy I can think of that portrayed Reagan, Clinton & Trump (early 90s version). Kinda spooky to think of that
Dana Carvey still has it! I didn't start really laughing out loud until he came in.
Lmao “can I be the ambassador to cancun”
Couldn't even get a black dude to play Obama? I thought it was Richard Nixon for a second. Lmao
He just looks and acts like Fred Armisen.
Same
Obama is mixed race, his mother was white. So it'd be just as wrong to have him played by a full black person
Peter Shepherd he looks like a full black person so y the fuck not
Jim carrey’s Impression was the best one. I’ll never forget the “pendulous balls” line 😂😳
This is a fantastic you tube video. Keep up the good effort and I look forwards to any new video clips which you generate.
5:12 the unexpected *can i be ambassador to cancun* HAHAHA
Well, time to add Alec Baldwin to this lineup.
Iambic Pentameter ironic, considering the prick he nails so well wants to take down this very thing.
Iambic Pentameter Alec Baldwin is an awful Trump impersonator
He seemed have just won an Emmy for it...so.........
Baldwin isn't funny.
^ That's what makes him a great Trump. XD
Is Dana George H.W. Bush?
Yes
Unfortunately, he doesn't look like George H. Bush....
Did you miss seeing the 41 hat? What about the HW Bush accent? 😵
It's hard to decide who does the best impression. Hammond's Clinton and Farrel's Dubbya always crack me up
Holy fuck that was Jim Carrey.
I think you mean "HOLY SHIT IT'S DANA CARVEY"
Also that.
holy balls, it was all of them!
Every time I see an actor impersonating Obama, I wonder why Jordan Peele is not that actor.
It's nice to see all of these great actors.
I loved Jim Carrey as Reagan.
The perfect recast would have phil Hartman as Reagan and Jordan peele as barrack
Phil Hartman died sadly so they couldn't use him
@@dylanbroomes5597 I am aware, didn’t mean to imply he was still around.
@@BLAISEDAHL96 oh sorry. I wish he was around tbh. I remember first being introduced to gim through the simpsons
"awooooooooooo , i'm the ghost of dick cheney " ahaha
Yeah, that second term of yours was a real victory lapper, Dubbers. 😆 🤣 😂
The fucking comedy talent in this room is almost too much;
"I'm the ghost of Dick Cheney!" XD
Omg, I've been waiting for this moment! I ALWAYS wanted to see my favorite actors together on one set!!! I don't care what anyone says, they're still hilarious. There will never be anyone like them. (my god, they've changed a lot, lol)
I'm having an excitement overload imaging all those historical comedians together. Wow. Bravo college humor, bravo.
College humor??? XD
"as George Washington once said to John Adams........TAG you're it!!" lol gotta love Jim Carrey as Regan.........fantastic! :D
Carrey, Carvey, Chase, Aykroyd, Hammond, and oh yeah, Ferrell. I love when legends get together, it's so awesome. Plus it's got that hottie from idiocracy.
I was thinking "if only Chevy Chase were in this" and then he showed up! And then I was like "if only Bill Murray were in this"...It's great to see all of these LEGENDS still being funny!!
“Password was 1-2-3-4-5 Only took me lik’a. ..ten times to remember it” lmao
Can I be ambassador to cancun?😂
I think we should have a Congressional hunger games when the approval rate for Congress drops lower than 30%.
+blueakgirl23 It's been barely above 10% for years.
Hilarious! Great to see all my favorite SNL cast members, in one skit.
"Can I be ambassador of Cancun?"
Haha good ol' Bill
Ferrell could be argued as being one of the best players to come out of snl. He did great impressions (Harry Caray and Bush), but his stronger suit was making up characters and just being hilariious. The best impersonators snl had imo were: Carvey, Hartman, and Hammond (Carvey just couldn't take his talents from snl any further). Hartman did a great Reagan and Clinton (the infamous McDonald's sketch), but Hammond filled that role perfectly after Hartman left. Imo the best president impression is Carvey's Bush (the best political impression is Tina Fey's Palin).
Tina Fey was so good people could not tell the difference and attributed joking remarks by Fey to Palin.
These are the best Obama's they could find?
Desean Ashby
It's a shame because Armisen used to be spot-on.
Armisen looks like a pale Obama.
Its a skit not a movie
Desean the real question is why didn’t they get an actual trans for Michelle’s character ?
I love how he plays Clinton making eyes at Michelle Lol
The way Jim moves at 3:14 is brilliant.
"These pendulous balls" HA!
can i be ambassador to cancoon
+harrynbarry cancoon
+dov linhos in my defense, i spelled it how it sounded
not even close on the spelling there bud
Right, because my school made sure we covered how to spell Cancun in great depth.
Tanner Craft you're on the fuckin internet. looking up how to spell something takes all of 5 seconds. You're just lazy.
Chevy Chase keeping his old SNL shtick by saying "Live from New York!"
Dana Carvey is too hilarious in a perfect 41. Where in the hell has he been the last two decades?
All star cast damn
Directed by Ron Howard
Absolutely the funniest skit I have ever seen.
Love that old SNL reference from Chevy
Damon Scharvi - And Dan. I always thought Chevy looked too young (no makeup back then), too cute and too dark haired to play Ford. Now he looks more like him.
Tag your IT! Lol
BABAR.......LOL
5:07 "Just do me a solid, and don't tell Cheney I was here!"
Chevy's Gerald Ford fallling over and acting like he's still doing the cold open.
Best Ronald Reagen voice acting ever XDDD
"Tag your it"
many people don't realise that the the quotation marks mean something.
in this case (i hope) they mean the correct spelling is: tag, you're it !
i may be wrong (not a native English speaker).
BUT I AIN'T
Wills impersonation of G.W. Bush is so on point, sometimes I wonder if it was actually just Will Farrell that was president before Obama.
Listen up Babar haha Oh Dana Carvey
"Live from New York....." OMG !!! This reminds me of every Trumps Impression ending up by saying his catch phrase " The Apprentice " 😂
the "you gotta listen to these fellas babar" always gets me hahahahahaah
Love this small SNL reunion and Jim Carrey as Reagan is awesome
I. Love. This.
Politically... I don't agree in the slightest. That being said, I still found the cast hilarious and the script enjoyable. I hate Jim Carry's political beliefs, but come on.... that was still pretty darned funny...
only 748,133 views.... This was awesome!
Chevy's entrance gets me every time.
Who played Jimmy Carter?
+Márton Lukács Dan Aykroyd
Except for that he isn't taking on the banks, he is walking hand in hand with them
Thank you gods of RUclips for sending me here. I really enjoyed this. Jim Carrey doing Reagan was so spot on it's ridiculous. You guys need to do a reprise with Baldwin As Trump. I will have to look at who's playing Biden. I haven't seen that yet
holy shhhhiet this is like an all stars reunion!! great video LOVED IT
And now they can blow up that bubble until it bursts again!!!! Thanks Trump.
that obama impersonator was terrible...
I spit my drink when Chevy fell over the table.
quite frankly, Chevy Chase has aged into Dick Cheney
Worst Obama impression I have ever seen
I honestly had no idea who he was supposed to be until the other presidents started showing up.
He actually spoke like him pretty well.
Not as bad as the real Obama
if they had any more talent in the room they'd be dangerous.
Skit starts: meh
Jim Carrey Enters: imma watch his shit!!
3:51 LITERALLY LMFAO!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I LOVE Dana Carvey!!!!
Now all we need is Alec Baldwin as Trump... because he is the next president... sigh...
he has the worst trump voice i have ever heard my cat does better than him
