My mouth literally dropped open when you held up that incredibly gorgeous intricately embroidered crazy quilt. The fact that women made beautiful pieces of art like this to decorate their homes in their spare time blows my mind!! Its a jem you're so lucky! Im so jealous 😭
If a mishappening in washing wool to warm and the clothing gets shrunken, you can soak it in conditioner and bit by bit stretch out the fabric. It may not be worth doing on a thrifted (cheaper) item, but if it ever happens to one of your favorite sweaters, it works, a bit time consuming though.🌸 15:57
Hi Natalie! Just a suggestion on the shrunken wool sweater… There’s an old hack where you soak the shrunken item in a little tub of cool water and a cap full of hair conditioner. Then rinse it, roll it in a towel to get most of the excess water out and lay it out to dry, stretched back to original size. Usually that works. Hope that helps!
Omg those jackets I LOVEEE! And that quilt!! That was a good day at the bins! I too have sadly shrunk a wool sweater!☹️ There’s videos on how to stretch it somewhat back to shape.
I just adore this style and your vlogs too!! You’re so addictive 🫶🏻 I want to come with you next time hehe I loved the fabric quilt you found too such a treasure! Love you lots beautiful lady 🩷🧡💛 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
IF you did want to sell the beaded silk jacket, use a picture of you wearing it, and you should be able to get between $125- $175. It looks so good on you. Maybe you could wear the thin brown(ish) shirt as a under layer?
I used to love to go to my Goodwill, but they have started putting all the sizes together, and you can't even try things on anymore. It's not worth the trouble looking threw every size.
Nooo! Aesthetically, I love color-sorted thrift stores, but practically, I prefer when items are sorted by size. Our Goodwill Select stores still sort by size and have fitting rooms. If you go thrifting and they don’t have fitting rooms, I like to wear athletic clothing like leggings, so I can try things on over my clothes.
I was like wait I don’t think they were in the room when I was filming….BUT they were definitely in the living room with the new finds 🫶 they are very FLOOF
IMO: I cannot understand how you can try in the stuff especially at the family thrift outlet. 😖 I just walk in and my whole body feels itchy. It’s dirty dirty
@@dannlinscott-dunham4027 I didn’t think so first either! I just saw that on a listing so that’s why I thought maybe?? BUT it gave me some good styling ideas with it 🤩

Isn’t it just amazing. If it wasn’t so flawed around the edges I would just leave it be.
@@CuratedbyNatalie it's so beautiful and special. I would be so tickled to find that in a bin. LUCKY!!!!

Tuxedo!! Yes! I knew it was Canadian but blanking on tuxedo.
Nice haul 🌷
What location is this?
The trouble with finding cheap clothes is you end up with a wardrobe full of things you don't especially like.

Good RUclips videos on how to fix a sweater you shrunk.
That is pretty, but it is NOT a western show jacket. :)
