“Some of my best friends are amphibians” idk why but that one got me 😂
Kenny Mayne is briliant
Yeah I was like wtf 😂
Thought it was brilliant
I woke up my neighbors I scream-laughed so hard
Disturbing

“Some of my best friends are amphibian”
Kenny Mayne, forever the GOAT.
Man's got his friendships in order 💪
As many 'crazy weather moments' videos there are here on YT, I've never seen one have that footage from the last clip...amazing!
Probably because it wasn’t a true official NFL game. It was the last game an NFL team played against a College team
Yeah, the weather was insane, and having never seen it in a compilation before is almost as insane. Extremely great pull by SBS.
I've only seen it once before, and it was ages ago 🤷♀️
It looked like a wavepool at a waterpark.
That was the College All-Star Pro Game, an annual event at Soldier Field (which looked like Sailor Field that night).
The game was called, and the tradition ended, very ingloriously.
1:15. The Bills lost to the Pats because of a controversial call that set up the game winning TD. The Bills did not come back out for the PAT so Vinatieri just ran it in for 2. The point spread in that game was New England by 3.5. That 2 point conversion gave them a 25-21 victory.
Week 13 1998 for anyone wondering
NFL already catering to Tom Brady
Typical zebras posturing for new england
NFL Films VO:
Tune in next week for another episode of ----- Great Moments in Gambling History.
@@Railer61 You dumb?
The first thing that made me realize that cfl game was a cfl game wasn't the team names, or even the center field line. It was the forward motion of the receivers.
I was watching it half sleep and was so confused where the receivers were coming from 😂
To me, it was the ads over the field
I’m legitimately impressed I’ve never seen most of these clips
The only one I’ve seen is the 4:55 one since it was from a bloopers or NFL Follies video I had.
Lol that field goal post bending over is crazy I’ve never seen that happen before didn’t even think it was even possible for that to happen
They used to be very flimsy, especially as temporary structures. A determined mob could bring one down with just body weight. They're much sturdier these days, you could have a person hanging on every inch of yellow and not see it fall.
Wacky waving inflatable goal posts
the crossbar can still move but it won’t fall down
When I saw this comment I thought: "Wow, it bent over! It must be a couple inches sideways!". I didn't realize that it would be on the ground like that.
made me laugh that it looked like the teams were taking a knee for the injured goal post
“Some of my best friends are amphibians.” Lol
What a great line
Saw both of the last two live. That Rams game where the goalpoast fell over also had three safeties scored by the Rams against the Giants all in one quarter, and before that the Giants scored the fastest touchdown in NFL history because the Rams returner just ignored the opening kickoff bouncing in the endzone and the Giants fell on it to score with no time off the clock. (Back then you had to down the ball in the endzone for a touchback.) Really weird game. The one with the Steelers looking like they were inside a carwash was the last ever college all-star game, which ended up being called off because of the weather.
Where was that second one? It sure didn’t look like Three Rivers.
@@thephantomeagle2 I disagree. With that much water, it looks like all three rivers at once!
Love how whenever there’s a stupid rule the refs say “by rule…”
They don’t make the rules just enforce them 😅
You should put Jimmy Graham breaking the goal post and the Arkansas kicker hitting the top of the post vs Texas A&M in part 2
I don’t ever want to see that kick again
@@vihockeyguy1 L
7:38 pretty sure someone stealing the 1st down marker XD
lmao
Pete Carroll was the NE coach? Damn, either I'm young, or he's old lol
Both lol
He coached NE for 3 years before he went to USC in 2001
5:02 Im done hearing "heads up play," bring back "Johnny-on-the-spot"
That Cleveland Gary play is is the most Falcons thing ever haha
Nah, 28-3 is probably the most Falcons thing EVER.
Nobody ever has CFL highlights included that was dope and relevant asf
That last clip looked insane. Were they under some type of weather watch?
The last clip was the last NFL vs College All Star challenge game, they had done this every year since the 1930s (with the college team occasionally winning) but by the 1970s, pro players were so much stronger and better that it had become noncompetitive, and outright dangerous for college players to play. The fiasco that was that game (they just ended the game early after that clip) convinced them to not try that idea anymore.
@@leavemanycredits Not only non-competitive, but other teams were getting reluctant to send their draft picks to an exhibition game.
Severe fun watch with a chance of slip and slide! I'll leave now
The pats blew that no defense xp attempt. They should have had every player on the team touch the ball before scoring. Would have been an awesome trivia question
The guy who had to write the box score would have quit.
>>some guy lightly taps me on the shoulder
>>>I kill him
>>>>"By rule, those penalties offset!" -Some NFL ref, probably
I've seen a lot of highlights, but nothing quite like these! Thanks.
06:13 That was actually an off-season exhibition game in Pittsburgh (during their prime) where they played against College All Stars. Imagine that today since they play tag football in the Pro Bowl. Back then, even the Steelers players needed extra income.
That was the last such game. No team wanted the embarrassment of losing to them so they played full speed. That was the last time an NFL team played a team outside the NFL.
Actually the game was played at Soldier Field in Chicago and the proceeds went to charity.
Pre-season, actually, on July 23, 1976.
There were probably 3 or 4 times during that CFL lateral clip where the guy with the ball could have kept going and scored if he wasn’t so busy looking for someone else to throw to
Cool seeing a CFL play make it in! I'd love to see some more CFL highlights!
The next edition of this series should include a wacky CFL game end, IIRC Toronto and Montreal were tied, where the potential game winning field goal was missed and then they exchanged kicks because a rouge would win the game, and ultimately the ball was recovered in the end zone for a touchdown
What's crazier about that last clip was that was the defending Super Bowl Champion Steelers playing an exhibition against college All-Stars _after_ they'd been drafted. I believe that was the last such game.
It was, and that storm ended the game.
I’ve never seen some of these clips, good job
1976 College football all stars vs superbowl Champs. I was there. 10 years old. went to get a hot dog with my brother, missed entire rain delay, came out after and saw the aftermath. ran on the field. true story. my dad took me the year before and we saw a college player named Walter Payton get a standing ovation. new bear.
Some wild ass weathers
0:30, the coach’s face😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭
"some of my best friends are amphibians" lol
I’m impressed that literally yes anything can happen in football and that’s why I love the damn sport
I know of several games in which the "let the other team score" strategy worked. It is most effective when the coach of the team in the lead won't run the victory formation.
I went to Maiden High School in North Carolina and I live right beside Saint Stephen’s High School. I never would’ve thought that I would be watching a Saint Stephen versus Bunkerhill game on this RUclips video
Savage can u do nfl video getting irrupputed by important news or no
I think that Canadian Rugby (CFL) play actually had a forward pass ... but it was behind the line and to an eligible receiver
Guys the thumbnail isn’t clickbait, it’s just the Lions D in 2022
*Insert Colts lowlight against Patriots here*
That last clip is insane! I wish I were there!
It’s crazy how in the beginning one of the punt, 3 penalties can be on one team and they still offset the penalties.
God loves you guys!
Huh, so the "no defense" thumbnail wasn't a Photoshopped clickbait. Nicely done, sir.
Rumor has it they are still running to this day
i hope you put that Marcell Frazier pick in this series
I promise that this is the most St. Stephens and Bunker Hill thing that could happen
The beginning of a landmark series, it would seem
1:45 I thought that was Pete carroll and then they said it haha
The last one looked like fun.
I've seen a few shows/videos about bad weather football games...and to be fair the majority of them focus primarily on playoff games or unique games such as the Fog game when it was regular season game....however that last game which looked as if a hurricane was going on was a game that I had not seen in any of the compilations.... my guess it was a preseason game but can't say for sure
It was the 1976 College All-Star Game. For decades, a group of college all-stars would play the defending NFL/Super Bowl champions. Way back when the game was often competitive, but no longer by the '70s. This was the end of the series, with the game being called at this point.
3:20 both of those teams are in my conference
That Buffalo-New England clip is crazy. What is the context?
it was a td on the very last play of the game and I believe there were some bad calls in the pats favor on that drive
@@savagebricksports1 Oh. No wonder. You would hate to be on the field after that.
Pats cheating per usual. Look up the “just give it to them” game
Vinatieri was happy to accept the two points to his stat sheet instead on one, though
Buffalo got called for DPI on a Hail Mary on the last play of the game in the end zone. It was a horrendous call that the NFL later admitted wasn’t pass interference. New England got one untimed down from the one yard line and scored the winning TD. Buffalo left the field and refused to send anyone out for the extra point so the Patriots just had Vinatieri run it in. The NFL only modified the rule in the past few years that if the go ahead TD occurs on the last play of the game, the XP is not required.
Off setting penalties are a biggest joke, next to roughing the passer.
who knew at the time that would be the math of today 3 against 1 penalties =0 ok do it over lol. I still to this day don't understand how that works ok the defense had 80 yard in penalties and the offense had a 10 yard hold by the ruling on the field it's a wash. BIIICH no I want my 70 yards lol
2:02 meanwhile in Canada
6:12 - The NFL Champs played the College All-Stars EVERY year from 1934-1976. This was the game to end that series forever because of that storm and those idiot fans.
That is some of the heaviest rain i've ever seen. Yeah, suspend the game for a bit, that's NUTS! Sometimes mother nature needs to take a leak. It's best to just let her do her thing and move on with life when it's done.
Surprised no one has pointed this out but at 1:00 we can clearly see 34 got the penalties for staring at the kicker to hard.
It was 33 that ran into the kicker.
1:25 “These are 2 of the greatest finishes in the history of this franchise” …ummm absolutely NO ONE remembers this LOL. This was Post 4 SuperBowl Bills, and Pre-Brady Pats dominance.
In the next one you should do the clip from a Jets Bills game in the 80's where people were lighting fires in the nosebleeds
Sometimes weather have there own ideas, literally
well you could add last Monday week 17 of the 2022-23 season to that list sadly enough.
How did no one mention the announcer that said "Some of my best friends are amphibians"
It's actually the ESPN Sportscenter recap guy.
was the last clip a tornado....... or just REALLY bad wind driven rain?
You missed the fog bowl game in Chicago
No Defense? I was expecting the crane technique.
@3:20 why on earth would he tell his defense to get off the field?
Some of my best friends are amphibians
Some of my best friends are amphibians too
Holy shit. I was at the high school game between Saint and Bunker. That was actually the last time we beat them. Craziest ending to a football game I've ever seen
What was going on? Why was Bunker's coach trying to pull the guys off the field?
@@jeffallen55 Saint was up by 1, and they could run out the clock, so the Bunker Coach pulled them off the field, hoping Saint would score a touchdown. It ended up working to perfection, but they didn't get the 2 point conversion to tie the game up.
All penalties should be counted. No penalties should offset unless they are of equal yardage.
That no defense play confused the hell out of me btw just hit 111 subs
Four flags!That is crazy!
How do 3 and 1 penalties offset?
I wanna know too
I assume any number of penalties offset. So you could literally have a 8483379-1 ratio of penalties and that offsets. Weird, but it works.
Your guess is as good as mine
In the same way when multiple penalties occurs only the worst one is kept (rather the captain chooses which one) and only that penalty is applied.
The idea is that penalties invalidate the whole play so it doesn't matter if there's multiple penalties or just one. So just like the defense "lost their chance to stop the opponent " by committing an infraction, the offense "lost their chance to gain yards". The result is that none of the teams can benefit and the down is played again.
That was a bad call re running into the kicker
I thought 53 blocked that punt, this was from the first clip!
craziest moments and you don't include the best running back of all time not getting the ball on 1st and goal
How many of these is Pete Carole involved in?
@Coogan I count 2 already, what're you smoking?
That game must be so boring, for the goal post to fall asleep
0:55 dude (34) tried to, like, duck under........ he didnt mean to hit the kicker
IDK why that was called.....
.
but if you dont tuck the QB in, give him a kiss, and read him a bedtime story..... you get roughing the passer nowadays..... so....
wait.... 34 doesnt even TOUCH the kicker.......
.
38 and 53 do make contact however.......
im too lazy to back it up..... but either the refs were wrong, or the announcers were wrong
Some of my best friends are amphibians.
That's pretty funny.
This is confusing lmao
Bro THAT first one calling 2 penalties
RAMS #34 is TOTALLY Bogus DUDE wasn't EVEN the player who made contact with the punter it was number 53 and the other dude I think it was #38. So the Refs and announcers both FRICKEN blind on that call man.
1:20 I was at this game… it was a PI in the corner of the end zone with no time on the clock. So Pats scored with 0:00 to get the win. It was awesome and one of my very first memories as a season ticket holder (with my dad, I was 7 lol)
2:50 If his knee hits the ground, why isn't he ball down?
He wasn't touched, it only gets downed if he was forced onto his knee, not if he did so willingly
Refs just ruin the game
How do you even get four fouls
Coach for the Seashawks looks coked out all the time.
Offsetting penalties are a bunch of BS how can a offsides or a holding penalty offset a personal foul or unnecessary roughness penalty? Makes no sense
A couple of these plays were just failed almost comebacks. Get your stuff together man.
What the hell going on out there?
The Slime Ball Pete the Cheat says GO for two. Whatever
Shut up, bih. Get back in the kitchen, and make all of us men some sandwiches.
On the play when the Patriots converted the 2 point conversion with no one on defense, how did the center get called for holding?
What are you talking about? The center did not get call for holding
@@macabree5856 No, the tackles got called for unnecessary roughness, and the QB was offsides.
@@antiguanetwork5726 oh. Im so confused
I fart alot
Anyone ever notice Pete Carrol looks like Brandi Love?
