Welcome to the embroidery experiments. In today's video we are going to be asking the question "does 60wt thread make a difference with small lettering?" and we will be stitching out some micro font lettering to see what works best.
I will be using Perfect Embroidery Pro embroidery software to create the micro fonts and Exquisite 40wt and 60 wt thread for the experiments.

If you didn't know, small embroidery is difficult to create so that it stitches out well without any broken needles. There are a few tips and tricks to make small lettering look great, and I am going to show you a few tricks to help you get started. Where can you purchase 60 weight thread?
Since there is a big difference between weighted threads, how do you match the top and bottom threads for 10 needle L bobbins? I noticed most bobbin companies sell black or white thread unless you are quilting. I have a bobbin winder but where is the best place to find matching color threads for both?
Have you ever used “bobbin” thread for lettering?
Are these fonts bx?
