he actually does counter dash heroes. Played the fuck out of him recently, and he's an incredible counter for heroes like fanny, harrith, lancelot, etc. since he can lock them down with his displacement passive. He doesn't exactly counter gusion, though.

I like his revamp. I did great when i played him, but when i played against him, i noticed he could get hit despite using his ult. Ending up with me winning the figjts against him. Also, winning the match.

Theres a fast combo for him. Put your first skill in the second phase first, then use your seconnd skill on the enemy then quickly cast your first skills second phase, then spam the ult before the first skill disappear then basic attack.
From playing him since release until now, I can say he's a balanced hero, he can feel like OP hero, sometimes he's not. It also depends on how you build him. I saw another Phoveus guide and it works, you can let go of War Axe, as he can sustain with this build and emblem: Fighter emblem: HP, Tenacity, Brave Smite Spell: Revitalize Build: Warrior/Tough Boots Thunderbelt Queen's Wings Oracle Antique/Dominance/Athena Immortality/Twilight Elgin's build can also work if you feel like your team doesn't have enough damage.
At first severely underestimated revamp phov. But after numerous build and combo adjustments, I can confirm he's a monster in 1v1 and clash. Given enemy doesnt have too many cc because its a real combo braker
@@Ornyl My personal experience he can handle himself I exp lane pretty well, even before lvl 4, He has good sustain early game and his skills are fairly low cd compared to other meta xp heroes. I even often get first blood and would only loose my lane if I was ganked or I carelessly dive into the tower
@@mitsunoseikaku2597 nah, no normal player will ever lose to phoveus in a 1v1. He doesn't have skills to Kill someone by himself specially tanky heroes, despite his HP based dmg. With his ULT he's normal, without his ult he's weak prone to lane freeze.
@@Ornyl only one I had issues with while using Phoveus was Terizla, but everyone have issues with Terizla. Did you know that Phov actually eats Freya in lane? Because Freya's Skill 2 triggers his passive.
to those who want a more agressive focused phoveus, you can replace brave smite with temporal reign, with this you can get better all in once you used your ult, and with his zero cd ultimate, you can always trigger Temporal whenever its off cooldown
I honestly never expected to main Phoveus after revamp, he's just so fun, and I even got a maniac two times after I bought him, the only problem I have about his ult is that it doesn't give him invincibilty(Phoveus before revamp gave him invincibility or airborne in his ult I think)
Old phoveus did not have invicibility while ult, i already experience enough to know that diggie 2nd skill are perfect counter for him, it's just the old one has longer animation & had a shield that somewhat give him a "untargetable" effect
the delay on all his skills really sucks but at least you can combo your second skill with flicker and also do 2nd-ult-basic atk-1st skill 2nd phase-ult-ult again from astaros eye

As he's not invincible in his ult animation anymore, so as long as you continuous hit, he'll die before he can even do much. To reduce the gap betwen each combo for ultimate you can stack his ultimate by doing BA pasif >ultimate>skill2>skill1 2nd phase >ulti>ulti>BA pasif>ulti ....yes you can stack ulti by skill 2+skill1 2nd phase
As a person who is familiar with Tanks and some Fighters with Hybrid Builds, the amount of stacks he can get on a single teamight from Thunder's Belt is disgustingly easy. Along with Oracle, War Axe and Queen's Wings, dude is literally the definition of an Absolute Unit. Of course, as every hero on this game, he greatly appreciates help from his teammates.
Very fun both of them just jumping each other since gatot passive is a dash plus hp base dmg of phov Both of them easily trigger their passive to spam jump jump jump attacks
I don't know if this is a bug yet, but you can actually stack the sinner marks of the enhanced 1st skill and 2nd skill. The combo for this is (Passive Basic Attack - 1st - Ult - 2nd - Enhanced 1st - Ult - Ult), it's quicker but probably not practical tho

First there's no mana anymore, and old passive only works with ult. 2nd skill is way easier to land, and ult has no cooldown. Against benedetta, chou, thamuz, gatot, new phoveus with vengeance is different gravy strong. And in teamfights with team combos like tigreal and khufra, he can be lethal. He is only weak to ranged heroes and stuns, to which any fighter would actually struggle as well. New passive also is insane in countering fanny or lancelot.
one of his big weaknesses is that he has no skills to retreat because his ultimate forces him to engage especially in teamfights, its also good to mention that his ult has low healing. his old version has a better ult because it gives you shield every cast which makes him super durable in teamfights and his old first which gives him more shield and extra movement speed
Truth i play phoveus i prefer solo than teamfight pretty much phoveus is so good at solo but Teamfight phoveus always stucks while teamates all run away and left him die then got considered as feed 😅
This revamp made him 10 times better. No mana, no CD on his Ulti, adaptive attack. You can use him against any lineups now. Before the revamp, he was a one trick pony that was only used against heroes that dash a lot. He definitely needed that revamp

@@randomdreamer1619 I'm currently at 70 stars right now (PH server), some EXP mains would ban him at times. He can bully any EXP laners including Freya, Thamuz, Yu Zhong etc who are very dominant in laning. The only EXP lane right now that can go toe to toe on him is Terizla.
As someone who used his revamp a little bit too many times, all i can say is be very mindful of the mark, as if you used all his skills you won't have other way to apply it if the enemy doesn't have much blink, his passive takes a long while to charge but second skill and ONLY second skill can properly displace enemies to reduce passive by 20% which is a lot because it includes ANY blink or displacement including allies cc. Also, Zhuxin and Franco is phoveus best friend. Honestly a fun hero, but i hope his 1st skill have the movement speed increase back.
Not Franco but Akai. Franco only displaces one enemy. That's not very useful. Unless you're talking about non-ult skills only. Still, there's Martis and Ruby, who can displace any number of heroes and can spam as well.
Tips: Engagement: Engagement tactics will depend on the range and the amount of enemies. Second phase S1 for short range/ radial aoe . Passive for mid range/ chase/ single target. S2 for long range/ cc aoe. Passive: Engager/initiator/ ult marker Prioritize procing his passive. (Purple bar) His passive tackles allow you to interrupt (cc) disturbing the enemies and cause them to miss input. (Stops enemy ult in some cases) additionaly you want this always up for chasing if you miss with phase 2 S1 or S2. S1: Always learn this skill first. Always proc 1st phase when you feel that you are able to confidently land phase 2. Phase 2 also marks multiple targets. Can proc with creeps, heroes, minions. S2: Great for marking multiple targets and interrupting. CC that makes enemies go airborne with a mini pull effect. If your targets are too far you can use this skill to land your S1. Perfect for kiting enemies. ULT/S3. BONK. Your combos wont be always the same as you know enemy blinks decreases your skill’s cool down. Therefore depending on the situation you most likely want to use S2 in most team fights. That being said always pay attention to ult marker and your bar. Always try to sneak phase 1 of S1 with passive/ S2/ Ult depending on the scenario. DRAG YOUR SKILLS BOYOSSS
For me the best suits me for this combo is before team fight hit your first skill to any target then approach enemy with passive - instant first skill - instant Ult - Ult - 2nd - Ult
I don't know how strong he was and i see people don't like him now, but man, he's most fun hero i've played. Being able to spam ult, teleport on top of marked hero than bonk them is satisfying experience. To the point I am afraid he will get nerfed soon
I was actually surprised with the barbarian shout audio (diablo 2 reference). But going back, I think he's a bit underpowered with the 6% Hp shield from passive since he's the constant diver in team fights. Damage output might be considered balance but kind of difficult to pull off because of his hybrid damage output.

Since Revamped Lolita, I finally found another guy who is suitable to help me climb rank. (Helcurt got banned bruh) Brave Smite has kind of fallen off since the nerf, I recommend Impure Rage. I also recommend Queen's Wings, this item is really strong. And...gonna mention my Phoveus combo again: I recommend using Enhanced Skill 1 after using Skill 2. Because Enhanced Skill 1 has a delay, it takes some time to mark the enemy after using Skill 1. So you can use this feature to press Ultimate twice in a row, the combo is as follows: BA >> 1 >> ULT >> 2 >> 1 >> ULT >> ULT In addition, in some cases, the CD of Enhanced BA has ended, so there is a chance to use BA >> ULT again.
@@biga1097 What I mean is Skill 1's 2nd Phase has delay. After you use Skill 2 + 2nd Phase, you still only have one mark only. But if you use Ultimate and consume one mark, Skill 1 will finish delay and apply another mark. Which makes you double ult.

Once phoveos entered the turret of the enemy, he can not get out, and also he is so squishy once no combo or skill or even has, once he is being stunned. He is not immune during his ulti. He shoud at leat be immune to any damage during ulti. I have a secret combo of Phoveos, and it was cool but hard to apply during real battle.
He's so good in 1v1 with most sustain exp laners but lacks in teamfights when he's alone because he doesn't have any mobility skill to escape.I like him his sustain is good aswell as his damage, perfect for me instead of using cici which i still am skeptical when using.
All he need for this revamp are his old shield, or atleast buff the heal reduction from 80% to 60%, so far its a good revamp, i also recommend tank emblem more than fighter, he dealt good damage & already sustain enough using F.O.B & impure rage
If he has a shield upon using ult.... The amount of shield left will be turn to heal when in impact..... Nah just hate giving donations to esme bahahha
The best combo for phoveus in my opinion. BA, ult, 1st skill, 2nd skill, ult, 1st skill, ult, BA and ult. Phoveus'es first skill have 70% slow effect meaning it have pretty good synergy with hist second skill
This Phoveus is really good for disrupting enemies during teamfights. The amount of extra damage he can deal and CC he can dish out makes it difficult for enemies to properly 'set' during teamfights. Essentially, you'd want to go squad with Phoveus as roamer. [edit] His passive gives you extra movement speed (If I recall correctly). He's decently good at chasing enemies (including dashers below Ling and Fanny). Problem is-he has no disengage skill. I recommend using Flicker, Sprint, or Vengence if EXP. However, I highly recomment petrify if roam. His ULT/Passive enables you to effectively apply it on multiple enemies, or a single target-making them an easy kill.
Key note with the new Phoveus is that he is now capable of 1v1 against most enemy champions. Even greater against those with mobility when in an all in trade.
We tried PHOVEUS and ARLOT, We become unstoppable because the benefit of phoveus 2nd skill gives a mark on arlot which he can deal even more damage and keeping in mind that arlot 2nd skill reset when there's a mark on it The brotherly battlefield of those two will surely dominate it

From 55 to 65 wr with matches of 89 Yeah I enjoy playing him rather than before where i need to use him if the enemy has a dash skill Also his passive is good to pull down Ling from wall or cancel his wall jump if its range Also cancel Fanny's fly, using both passive and second skill
little tip: after placing a mark on an enemy, don't press ult yet. If you have 2nd phase of your first skill, cast it first then before it explodes to apply a mark, immediately press your ult to apply 2 ultimate simultaneously.
Here's a tip:use his first skill(to get second skill) when u stun the enemy with second skill, u can passive and first skill immediately(second phase) because it has a slight delay so u can use use twice in a row
4:18 since there is no real gameplay tips let me share mine. Try to master double cast your ult utilizing your enchanted skill 1. Basic combo: Passive , Et skill 1, double ult , skill 2 ult. Skill 2,ult , passive, Et skill 1, double ult, passive ,ult. If you are not utilizing double ult your enemy will escape with sliver health.
Crazy how Phoveus can destroy early game monsters like Terizla and Yu Zhong the only problem with him is that you have to commit if you landed the ult in a team fight, no backing out or running away just straight up sustain your way to survival. He's very disruptive in a team fight but he needed someone to assist him or you'll die a loner

I personally use the Killing Spree emblem on phoveous because it heals me everytime i kill an enemy hero, it makes me become a terror in team fights against enemies who like to group up.
to balance it abit, i want his marks to stack 4x, this'll improve his slow combo and making his ult like an execution. so he can go atk-1st-2nd-1st so he wont rely on his ult in between combo attacks. which makes it slow and time where enemies can escape the ult gaps. TBH Phov is strong when you stand on his combos but overalls he's pretty weak on every occasions like utility, dmg , disengagement. CC& hp base dmg are also one of his problems.once you know how to disengage phov he pretty much cant chase you & relies on his team to initiate a clash.
First of all, I mained Lapu-lapu as my most main fighter because he had all of these in his kits in the first place: shield, mobility (mostly his 2 ultimates), long-range crowd control (cc), cc immunity (mostly his 2 ultimates too), damage reduction, and of course burst damage Second of all, same goes for Yu Zhong for same reason too but he has hp regen instead of damage reduction and shield, and his damage is sustained instead of burst And now this new main fighter Phoveus with same reason too but with both hp regen and shield (although no damage reduction) and unli skill spamming (although slower without CD reduction build)? *Inserting Kirby Ah meme* AHHH!!!
I really like the new phoveus, easy to build, tanky, good sustain and have cc. And most importantly, no longer uses mana. His playstyle looks like arlot, but with less aggresive and more survivality.
phoveous should get his sustainability buffed. he can get hit while in ult, he no longer gains shield from ult, no skills for retreating, no mobilty skills in order to stop getting poked from enemies he relies on sustain so even if he can't get out he can still live through the teamfight
The combo I use is first,.. pause a bit then second and spam first again so I can ult two times in a row follow passive while using temporal reign for low cooldown on skill the Bell's I hear is music to my ears
Let me share how I am disappointed with the revamp. I played MLBB occasionally. One of my favorite fighters was Phoveus (the old one). I used to have 78% win rate, and how I love to play it in higher ranks since it would be easy to trigger its passive. I played roam with Phoveus. But in these seasons, I used to play most of the time at the mid. In a rank game, I chose Phoveus because I saw the enemy composition. Little did I know, the voiceline changed, the skills were changed, and the passive changed. I struggled a lot and I keep on cursing why they changed my hero. My playstyle was a mess. After the game, I checked the skills discription and yes they were changed. In the current season also I struggled playing roamers due to the new items. Tanks easily melt down. So with this, fack u moonton
Many here complain about Phoveus being not mobile enough nor have enough shield. Well, as someone who spammed Phoveus in Mythic Honor already, I disagree with you all. I'm a solo player who sometimes go against a party pf players and still just get good enough win rate. Sometimes, a win streak, sometimes a loss. Coz of this, he doesn't get banned as much as other heroes letting me enjoy using the hero. He'll get OP if you get what you want about your complaints and be banned often. So what's the point then? You won't be able to use him as often in rank.
The Revamp Phoveus is like another hero because its lost his purpose as a anti-dash hero but this revamp is good but just give him a movement speed boost for his mobility and his 2nd skill is too slow.
In my opinion, this is the best hero to fight against tanks and high damage dealer enemies and Tanky heroes. Because in late game or even in early game this hero is too Op especially when it got revamped.
I personally think he should get buffed. He's fine as it is but i miss my one jump phoveus, plus the gain from using dmg build is stupidly low. Also the sustainability change, don't bring his shield back, sure but i hope that his heal goes from missing hp to max hp instead.
His revamp nerfed his sustainability, i remember when i play him i barely add any defense item to his build as his 1st and ult can make durable enough for teamfights because of the shield, but now you have to build defense items in order for him to be actually playable, hence the weak physical damage. Not only that. they also nerfed the damage on his 1st and ult, this leads to him not being able to go up against heroes like alpha and thamuz as they can literally burn your hp in a matter of seconds, as phoveus can't kill them fast enough for them to kill you first, and once you initiate the fight there's no way of running from these two and the Hp scaling damage on his ult only works on tanks so he can't fight sustain heroes as his sustainability is much weaker than them.. I can't help but feel disappointed since I used him to rank up before his revamp, he just doesn't feel as strong as before other than the fact he can spam his ult now
I think phoveus should be able to use ulti directly if an enemy hero dashes since he doesnt have a dash skill and cannot get out of a teamfight without fighting or dying
when casting ult he still gets damaged mid air leaving you open and getting bursted mid clash. Once you dunk on an enemy you have to commit as he doesnt have an escape skill.
From countering dash heroes, now he is best against non-blinking heroes.

The revamped Phob Ult Immunity has been removed thats why it can be hit and can be cc'ed as well.
i countered a chou user who was 50 global chou with phoveus, it was funny how he knocked me back with his ult then i used ult to gain back my position

Cuz it priorities heroes that can hold their own after ult and before ult.
Without ult he has lower dmg then Rafaela..

Terizla is very easy to deal with if you are using YZ or Dyroth, no problems at all.

I don't know if this is a bug yet, but you can actually stack the sinner marks of the enhanced 1st skill and 2nd skill. The combo for this is (Passive Basic Attack - 1st - Ult - 2nd - Enhanced 1st - Ult - Ult), it's quicker but probably not practical tho

@@Ornyl this newer one completely outperforms old phoveus in laning phase. First there's no mana anymore, and old passive only works with ult. 2nd skill is way easier to land, and ult has no cooldown. Against benedetta, chou, thamuz, gatot, new phoveus with vengeance is different gravy strong. And in teamfights with team combos like tigreal and khufra, he can be lethal. He is only weak to ranged heroes and stuns, to which any fighter would actually struggle as well. New passive also is insane in countering fanny or lancelot.
one of his big weaknesses is that he has no skills to retreat because his ultimate forces him to engage especially in teamfights, its also good to mention that his ult has low healing. his old version has a better ult because it gives you shield every cast which makes him super durable in teamfights and his old first which gives him more shield and extra movement speed
Which is why I make sure I have high movespeed, is durable, and ban Esmeralda.
Truth i play phoveus i prefer solo than teamfight pretty much phoveus is so good at solo but

This revamp made him 10 times better. No mana, no CD on his Ulti, adaptive attack. You can use him against any lineups now. Before the revamp, he was a one trick pony that was only used against heroes that dash a lot. He definitely needed that revamp
i think he definitely needs to be revamped, u are a braindead to think phoveus being can only able to counter dashes heroes. this new phoveus should be good in ranked even more but not ban worthy so this revamp is perfect.
@@randomdreamer1619 I'm currently at 70 stars right now (PH server), some EXP mains would ban him at times. He can bully any EXP laners including Freya, Thamuz, Yu Zhong etc who are very dominant in laning. The only EXP lane right now that can go toe to toe on him is Terizla.

As someone who used his revamp a little bit too many times, all i can say is be very mindful of the mark, as if you used all his skills you won't have other way to apply it if the enemy doesn't have much blink, his passive takes a long while to charge but second skill and ONLY second skill can properly displace enemies to reduce passive by 20% which is a lot because it includes ANY blink or displacement including allies cc. Also, Zhuxin and Franco is phoveus best friend.
Honestly a fun hero, but i hope his 1st skill have the movement speed increase back.
Not Franco but Akai. Franco only displaces one enemy. That's not very useful. Unless you're talking about non-ult skills only. Still, there's Martis and Ruby, who can displace any number of heroes and can spam as well.

Tips:
Engagement:
Engagement tactics will depend on the range and the amount of enemies. Second phase S1 for short range/ radial aoe . Passive for mid range/ chase/ single target. S2 for long range/ cc aoe.
Passive:
Engager/initiator/ ult marker
Prioritize procing his passive. (Purple bar) His passive tackles allow you to interrupt (cc) disturbing the enemies and cause them to miss input. (Stops enemy ult in some cases) additionaly you want this always up for chasing if you miss with phase 2 S1 or S2.
S1:
Always learn this skill first.
Always proc 1st phase when you feel that you are able to confidently land phase 2.
Phase 2 also marks multiple targets.
Can proc with creeps, heroes, minions.
S2:
Great for marking multiple targets and interrupting. CC that makes enemies go airborne with a mini pull effect. If your targets are too far you can use this skill to land your S1.
Perfect for kiting enemies.
ULT/S3.
BONK.
Your combos wont be always the same as you know enemy blinks decreases your skill’s cool down. Therefore depending on the situation you most likely want to use S2 in most team fights. That being said always pay attention to ult marker and your bar. Always try to sneak phase 1 of S1 with passive/ S2/ Ult depending on the scenario.

This hero is a menace, easily dominate the exp lane against other fighters because of very high early game advantage
For me the best suits me for this combo is before team fight hit your first skill to any target then approach enemy with passive - instant first skill - instant Ult - Ult - 2nd - Ult
I don't know how strong he was and i see people don't like him now, but man, he's most fun hero i've played. Being able to spam ult, teleport on top of marked hero than bonk them is satisfying experience.
To the point I am afraid he will get nerfed soon

I was actually surprised with the barbarian shout audio (diablo 2 reference).
But going back, I think he's a bit underpowered with the 6% Hp shield from passive since he's the constant diver in team fights. Damage output might be considered balance but kind of difficult to pull off because of his hybrid damage output.

For early to mid game phoveus revamp is a menace.
Since Revamped Lolita, I finally found another guy who is suitable to help me climb rank. (Helcurt got banned bruh) Brave Smite has kind of fallen off since the nerf, I recommend Impure Rage. I also recommend Queen's Wings, this item is really strong.
And...gonna mention my Phoveus combo again:
I recommend using Enhanced Skill 1 after using Skill 2. Because Enhanced Skill 1 has a delay, it takes some time to mark the enemy after using Skill 1. So you can use this feature to press Ultimate twice in a row, the combo is as follows:
BA >> 1 >> ULT >> 2 >> 1 >> ULT >> ULT
In addition, in some cases, the CD of Enhanced BA has ended, so there is a chance to use BA >> ULT again.
Can you stack two marks and double ult?
@@biga1097 What I mean is Skill 1's 2nd Phase has delay. After you use Skill 2 + 2nd Phase, you still only have one mark only. But if you use Ultimate and consume one mark, Skill 1 will finish delay and apply another mark. Which makes you double ult.
Just use 1st skill on minion or other creeps just before joining the fight.

Once phoveos entered the turret of the enemy, he can not get out, and also he is so squishy once no combo or skill or even has, once he is being stunned. He is not immune during his ulti. He shoud at leat be immune to any damage during ulti.
I have a secret combo of Phoveos, and it was cool but hard to apply during real battle.

He's so good in 1v1 with most sustain exp laners but lacks in teamfights when he's alone because he doesn't have any mobility skill to escape.I like him his sustain is good aswell as his damage, perfect for me instead of using cici which i still am skeptical when using.

All he need for this revamp are his old shield, or atleast buff the heal reduction from 80% to 60%, so far its a good revamp, i also recommend tank emblem more than fighter, he dealt good damage & already sustain enough using F.O.B & impure rage
If he has a shield upon using ult.... The amount of shield left will be turn to heal when in impact.....

The best combo for phoveus in my opinion. BA, ult, 1st skill, 2nd skill, ult, 1st skill, ult, BA and ult. Phoveus'es first skill have 70% slow effect meaning it have pretty good synergy with hist second skill

This Phoveus is really good for disrupting enemies during teamfights.
The amount of extra damage he can deal and CC he can dish out makes it difficult for enemies to properly 'set' during teamfights.
Essentially, you'd want to go squad with Phoveus as roamer.

His passive gives you extra movement speed (If I recall correctly). He's decently good at chasing enemies (including dashers below Ling and Fanny). Problem is-he has no disengage skill.
I recommend using Flicker, Sprint, or Vengence if EXP. However, I highly recomment petrify if roam. His ULT/Passive enables you to effectively apply it on multiple enemies, or a single target-making them an easy kill.
I feel really confident in early game using phoveus, he can easily dominate exp lane in early games.
Key note with the new Phoveus is that he is now capable of 1v1 against most enemy champions. Even greater against those with mobility when in an all in trade.

We become unstoppable because the benefit of phoveus 2nd skill gives a mark on arlot which he can deal even more damage and keeping in mind that arlot 2nd skill reset when there's a mark on it

little tip: after placing a mark on an enemy, don't press ult yet. If you have 2nd phase of your first skill, cast it first then before it explodes to apply a mark, immediately press your ult to apply 2 ultimate simultaneously.

Here's a tip:use his first skill(to get second skill) when u stun the enemy with second skill, u can passive and first skill immediately(second phase) because it has a slight delay so u can use use twice in a row

Try to master double cast your ult utilizing your enchanted skill 1.
Basic combo:
Passive , Et skill 1, double ult , skill 2 ult.
Skill 2,ult , passive, Et skill 1, double ult, passive ,ult.
If you are not utilizing double ult your enemy will escape with sliver health.
Crazy how Phoveus can destroy early game monsters like Terizla and Yu Zhong the only problem with him is that you have to commit if you landed the ult in a team fight, no backing out or running away just straight up sustain your way to survival.
He's very disruptive in a team fight but he needed someone to assist him or you'll die a loner

I personally use the Killing Spree emblem on phoveous because it heals me everytime i kill an enemy hero, it makes me become a terror in team fights against enemies who like to group up.
to balance it abit, i want his marks to stack 4x, this'll improve his slow combo and making his ult like an execution.
so he can go atk-1st-2nd-1st so he wont rely on his ult in between combo attacks. which makes it slow and time where enemies can escape the ult gaps. TBH Phov is strong when you stand on his combos but overalls he's pretty weak on every occasions like utility, dmg , disengagement. CC& hp base dmg are also one of his problems.once you know how to disengage phov he pretty much cant chase you & relies on his team to initiate a clash.

Good revamp. He’s way more useful now even if he gets nerf’d. Zhuxin is a nightmare for Phoveus IMO especially for dashless heroes
First of all, I mained Lapu-lapu as my most main fighter because he had all of these in his kits in the first place: shield, mobility (mostly his 2 ultimates), long-range crowd control (cc), cc immunity (mostly his 2 ultimates too), damage reduction, and of course burst damage
Second of all, same goes for Yu Zhong for same reason too but he has hp regen instead of damage reduction and shield, and his damage is sustained instead of burst
And now this new main fighter Phoveus with same reason too but with both hp regen and shield (although no damage reduction) and unli skill spamming (although slower without CD reduction build)? *Inserting Kirby Ah meme* AHHH!!!
I really like the new phoveus, easy to build, tanky, good sustain and have cc. And most importantly, no longer uses mana. His playstyle looks like arlot, but with less aggresive and more survivality.
phoveous should get his sustainability buffed.

he no longer gains shield from ult,
no skills for retreating,
no mobilty skills in order to stop getting poked from enemies
he relies on sustain so even if he can't get out he can still live through the teamfight

Since the revamp phoveus was released I have always used him in the ranks even though I only have 3 or maybe 5 matches. he is stronger now than before

Let me share how I am disappointed with the revamp.
I played MLBB occasionally. One of my favorite fighters was Phoveus (the old one). I used to have 78% win rate, and how I love to play it in higher ranks since it would be easy to trigger its passive.
I played roam with Phoveus. But in these seasons, I used to play most of the time at the mid. In a rank game, I chose Phoveus because I saw the enemy composition. Little did I know, the voiceline changed, the skills were changed, and the passive changed.
I struggled a lot and I keep on cursing why they changed my hero. My playstyle was a mess. After the game, I checked the skills discription and yes they were changed.
In the current season also I struggled playing roamers due to the new items. Tanks easily melt down.
So with this, fack u moonton

Well, as someone who spammed Phoveus in Mythic Honor already, I disagree with you all. I'm a solo player who sometimes go against a party pf players and still just get good enough win rate. Sometimes, a win streak, sometimes a loss.
Coz of this, he doesn't get banned as much as other heroes letting me enjoy using the hero. He'll get OP if you get what you want about your complaints and be banned often. So what's the point then? You won't be able to use him as often in rank.
The Revamp Phoveus is like another hero because its lost his purpose as a anti-dash hero but this revamp is good but just give him a movement speed boost for his mobility and his 2nd skill is too slow.

In my opinion, this is the best hero to fight against tanks and high damage dealer enemies and Tanky heroes. Because in late game or even in early game this hero is too Op especially when it got revamped.

I personally think he should get buffed. He's fine as it is but i miss my one jump phoveus, plus the gain from using dmg build is stupidly low. Also the sustainability change, don't bring his shield back, sure but i hope that his heal goes from missing hp to max hp instead.
His revamp nerfed his sustainability, i remember when i play him i barely add any defense item to his build as his 1st and ult can make durable enough for teamfights because of the shield, but now you have to build defense items in order for him to be actually playable, hence the weak physical damage. Not only that. they also nerfed the damage on his 1st and ult, this leads to him not being able to go up against heroes like alpha and thamuz as they can literally burn your hp in a matter of seconds, as phoveus can't kill them fast enough for them to kill you first, and once you initiate the fight there's no way of running from these two and the Hp scaling damage on his ult only works on tanks so he can't fight sustain heroes as his sustainability is much weaker than them..
I can't help but feel disappointed since I used him to rank up before his revamp, he just doesn't feel as strong as before other than the fact he can spam his ult now
I think phoveus should be able to use ulti directly if an enemy hero dashes since he doesnt have a dash skill and cannot get out of a teamfight without fighting or dying

when casting ult he still gets damaged mid air leaving you open and getting bursted mid clash. Once you dunk on an enemy you have to commit as he doesnt have an escape skill.
