@@C3ByAx I am a Malaysian. As a matter of fact, yes, flies abound in Malaysia, because the climate here is tropical, hot and humid, suitable for the growth of plants and animals. Malaysians have ways to keep flies and other insects away. We too are naturally more immune to the health problems brought by insects than people who live in countries with temperate climate.

China had done Malaysia a great honour by direct ship durian to China and able to sell in Chinese market within 24 hours from the fruit collection stage inside the farm. Normally any organic stuff need to be quarantine and checked by customs before grant permission to release for sale. But this time is different. No other country had this kind of VIP treatment other than Malaysia.

Just imagine someone taking a direct return flight anywhere in mainlandChina (or HK or Taiwan) to Malaysia just to eat durian. Just the price difference in the cost of a few durians to eat to one's heart content is more than enough to pay for the flight. And in Malaysia, you get to choose the freshest, the best type, durian from different states/regions and also perhaps a visit to the durian farm.

    some like it wet
    some like it dry
    some self challenged the stink
    some prefer soft creamy
some prefer just nice as ice-cream
some wish it can be felt high after the meal (to proof is benefit to one's health in promoting and healing process)
Everyone eat with their eyes, not by tasting from tongue (means first bite is from the appearance of the serving)
    some love big is better
some love it's colour outside and inside flesh
some admire the trees and seeds

In Europe, people pay big percentage of pay as income tax, rent, utilities, insurance. They even need pay money to use toilet. Many people live pay to pay even they seem to have higher pay than China. A lot of people in Europe have no money to buy own property and pay rent for whole life.

People in China now are living how we in Europe lived sinds Industrial Revolution. It’s the starting phase of increase of wealth for a larger population. In Europe we are dealing with a later phase where cost of living has only increased for all of us since we want to care for so many things. In china there are still a lot of societal issues that are no longer or less so in Europe, and all that will also cost them a lot of time and money.

It's not a fruit you'd want to be under as it falls from the tree. Lot's of people get killed by falling coconuts every year but you take a coconut on the arm or shoulder, but not. a durian.

3:38 ..to open the orchard to tourist, who might wake up from the sound of falling fruit.
Me: Just FYI if you hear sound, it will most likely be the durian falling on someone's head and the scream of agony....

They'll install safety nets about 4-5 meters above ground. The farmers prefer not for the fruits to not touch the ground when they fall anyway.

also it's known as the king of fruit, the queen is mangosteen(some have other choices but overall in general its those two in that order.)
