Does this setup work with a bridge hammock?

Cool, thank you, not a problem I'm always willing to gear :-). I had the Nano7 before I was sleeping in a hammock. I just used it for a camp chair/lounger, then my buddy got an ENO setup and got me thinking. I'm super happy with my setup now, lightweight, roomy, and I sleep great. Thanks for checking out my videos, I'll have some interesting ones coming soon...

Thanks, it is indeed a GT Nano-7. I've switched to a larger hammock since making this(GT7 is a great hammock, but a little too small to sleep in) , and I added my own sewn-on bug net to the new one. I did use this setup in a slightly buggy couple places, but nothing too serious. I think it would be pretty secure if you used an underquilt with it and tucked the netting in between the hammock and the UQ. You could always use more of the clips too.

Thanks, I already had the bug net from my days of ground dwelling under a tarp shelter

Great idea, as you can always drop to the ground if you need to. :D I like it. :D

Great Video. I'm in So Cal and want to start camping more and use a hammock. The sleeping bag I want has a bug net but will lay against your face and I was looking for a better and more comfortable solution. I am gonna get a Bear Butt hammock and wanna keep the bugs out. This is a great way to do it. Thanks so much for making it.

+JediG16 Glad it helped. I don't use this anymore, now I have a hammock that I've sewn a bug net to (I have a video about it). You could also look for a "Fronkey Style" bugnet, that you could either make or buy. I believe Butt In A Sling sells them. Happy hanging!

+Ian Young I liked the Sea to Summit net due to they also infuse their netting with repellent. Plus, I would only use it when I wanna sleep in the hammock. I just really liked how you set this up and will buy some tarp clamps to clamp the netting to a ridge line and then make a few slip knots in the ridge line to place a branch or pole through and then clamp the netting to it so it isn't laying on me. And just think, it was you, My Friend, that gave me the idea. Thanks again, Brotha!

Cool, as long as it helps you get out there more then its a good thing.

    Was this a 1P or 2P net?

1P, I think they call the 2P net a "Dual", this was the "Single"
