Amala Kirtan prabhu Leads a beautiful kirtan with Vrindavan prabhu on mridanga. Vrindavan prabhu was one of Aindra Prabhu's main mridanga players. He helped develop the style of Kirtan that we now see today in Vrindavan. I filmed this video especially so that you can see his playing. For all aspiring mridanga players out there, this will be a good play along video to learn from and get inspired by.

As far as I remember only Hattuti 2. But he used lots of Ghats (long tehai)

i have a question,
while doing backward slide , when we hit the baayaan and move hand backwards , does our wrist leave contact with baayaan or does it just slide back and forth along the surface of baayaan?
You can do both. 2 different styles, each with a unique sound. Check out my "advanced mridanga technique" video for more details 🙂
