I love this channel so much. But until all these MMA networks and content creators stop paying attention to this guy, this won't stop. He trolled everyone. He was never going to fight. He's only interested in keeping his name out there. I know it brings the views and the clicks, but PLEASE for the love of god move on. If we're being honest, it's so obvious that the UFC & McGregor aren't even on good terms anymore so what does it even really matter? I do hope, for Chandler's sake if nothing else, that he gets this fight but after that it's done I think.

Some irish fans introduced me to MMA and McGregor back in the day. They don't care anymore for quite some years now. Americans care.
Many have been saying for a LONG time now, that Conor will never fight again. A pinky toe? Really? Rescheduled for later in the year? A pinky toe? Its over. Its been over for years.
Listen, I worked in orthotics and prosthetics for years. A non-displaced fracture of any toes 2 thru 5, is simply a non-issue other than discomfort. The instructions for this “injury” are full weight bearing, buddy taping, and no activity restrictions. Ice as needed. Its the kind of thing that throbs for a few days, and is likely completely pain free in 7-10 days, unless a severe diabetic.

14 fights in the UFC, with 10 wins.
Not counting Jose Aldo (who is un-retired now) you have to go back to 2014 for his last win over an active (let alone held their spot on the UFC roster) MMA fighter. That is Dustin Poirier in 2014, the only other one is in 2013 when he beat Max Holloway. His last win period is over 4 years ago against Donald Cerrone. He is on the wrong side of 30 and fights at lightweight (where speed and cardio are all too important). Truly it is time to let go...

He's not fighting and hasn't fought in years, nobody outside of the hard-core MMA community pays attention to him anymore, which means there's very little hype around him even if he does get back into the octagon, which he might not, and he seems to spend the majority of his free time drinking and arguing with reporters and randos online...but you're right, he does have money! And as we all know, money solves everything. So yeah, compared to where he was 5-10 years ago, things clearly couldn't get any better for him!

I'm a recovering alcoholic, Conor ( IMO ) is an alcoholic. The chances of him getting sober for a few months to even complete a fight camp, let alone step in the cage is very unlikely. When you are that deep in, when you have unlimited $$$, when you no longer have control over your mood swings...its very difficult to brake free, even if he honestly wants to turn it around. I love Conor & I would be thrilled to see him fight again, however the clock is ticking fast & he needs to be willing 🙌🙏

Real question - where does Michael Chandler fit into all this?
While I don’t really care about his comeback, I find it really easy to keep up with the timeline. 1. He couldn’t fight after UF because of the USADA pool issue. 2. Dana absolutely won’t just put him on any card at anytime. If you listen to how Dana talks about it, it is easy to tell he uses Conner strategically. 3. Conner doesn’t have to fight… Yes he parties like crazy but he is also very successful. Meaning he has other commitments too. I mean honestly the list goes on and on. Tommy is right, he likely will fight just to get out of that contract. Kind of disappointed in Jason’s approach when he normally isn’t this biased.
Mcgregor Vs Diaz 3 and both retire after it. Would be a great ending for both their careers.

I think the McGregor rise was a sweet season for the UFC and I loved watching it! McGregor inspired me to be more intentional with fitness and MMA training in the 2014-2018 era!! But now the writing is on the wall. McGregor will always be who he is, and who he is now is a rich man who has everything he wants and needs and has no reason to fight other than ego.
McGregor made it from the bottom to the top, so where will he find motivation to keep pushing to the next level?
I’ll be curious about and will watch McGregor for life, but his best fighting days are behind him. I’m grateful for all he’s accomplished and I think he’s incredibly successful, but he’s far past the champ champ days.

I bet even now, with the O'malley fight booked, if Conor rang dana and said he wanted to headline the sphere against chandler, Dana would swap that fight out, right now. O'malley is a big star, but a conor fight at the sphere would generate x5, x6 the amount of revenue vs the current card. The UFC will do pretty much anything to get conor back in as soon as possible, so it's Conor holding everything up, because he doesn't want to fight. I personally think Conors fight career in the Ufc could be done. He's made millions and millions of dollars, held 2 ufc titles, made so much money against Floyd boxing, and also his Proper 12 plus so much more... The ufc has continued to grow and if Conor wants to fight, I'm sure Dana will make it happen and consider it. Plus, Conors is a fighter, so at any time, he can say he wants to fight, but with the leg injury and the money, I just dont think he steps in the cage! Just my thought. They can book it, but until weigh in and the day of the fight, I won't believe it.
