The TikTok issue is certainly a huge one. For businesses that have international clients you could still engage those customers. If you use a VPN you could still be seen in other countries such as Canada, UK, and several EU areas.
Why not put your magnet board displays on top of your drawers? That way it's up and won't risk getting bumped or triped over AND it's easily available to include in your lives to promote those items.

It is a whole dispute as TikTok is technically owned by a company in China called Bytedance. So the concerns are of US data being out of US territory in the short.
I think figured out your international shipping problem. If you purchase your shipping labels through US postal services (or whoever you use to ship packages) rather than shopify you should be able to ship ever internationally
