breath of fresh air listening to kiwi who is actually genuine and cares about the person they're listening to. None of this passive-aggressiveness, or defensive, witty, gruff responses like some old coaches. The old boys were always prickly, tried too hard to banter and came across as if they were always trying to one up the press. Robertson is a likeable soul who isn't afraid to show his true self. Win or lose, this guy gets life.
I’ve enjoyed listening to him talking to the press. But see how he goes further into his management. The media press whatever you call them are ridiculous and nothing good to say about them. Except don’t buy newspapers . That’s a start.
@@kev63inuk I loathe corporate media, as it's a cesspool of emotive fabrications, curtailed for political bias and nefarious social nudging. I view it all with distain and suspicion.
I don't hold rugby journalists to this opinion however. I feel sports journalists are pretty harmless when comparing them to corporate media.
Razor helps to create a healthy and uplifting questioning environment - you can see his authentic passion for the game and his subsequent care in answering the questions in good faith. I can see why rugby players consistently 'go over the top' for this man.
@@greensmith25 you make some good points there. And I wish razor and his team all the best. I for one will support NZ in the rugby championship. And already think they will win it . Just my humble opinion though. 👍
@@kev63inuk ABs all the way, however I'm unsure of how the results will go . South Africa are obviously the biggest threat, Argentina is always dangerous, and I'd never count out the tenacious dogs that are Australians.
The reality is, the legacy and 'era of dominance' by the ABs has become less effective on determining the next 80 minutes. Enjoy the Championship :)
You get a feeling Razor is excited by this group of players he has available.
What a breath of fresh air - thank god we have a coach of the people. In Razor we trust and I agree with Justin Marshall on the Breakdown ( Sunday 21/07/2024 ) when he said (quote) Razor needs to be ruthless, we need to win everything and make other teams fear us. I believe we are about to witness the greatest era of All Black rugby in the professional times.
My thoughts are NZ will always be feared ,especially at home but to think you can win everything anymore is not the case. Razor in most kiwi opinions is the saviour in getting back to total domination as it always has been. Be interesting see how he goes at international level .

ALB and Proctor are the best combination at moment
Might be worth trying Proctor and Jordie to be fair. Always good to have a center in reserve like when we had SBW.
@CoopMauKona They already play together at club level (Jordie 12 & Proctor 13) 😂
Isn’t it great to have some good competition in the centres! I will say Jordie and Billy have good chemistry already.
I think you’re right but they will go cautiously with Jordie and Proctor I suspect. Even tho they play together at club I think ALB complimented Proctors style far better than Jordy who doesn’t really get go forward ball or tends to kick away possession a lot. ALB has a far better running style and defensively aggressive. I hope to see ALB and Proctor a lot more.

Billy should be selected Reiko doesn't pass the ball but crashes it up, I think the Hurricanes centre pairing should start.
he was playing with a much faster pressing and tighter defence against England. But I do think billy is better at the deceptive passes

SA has even more of a hard press than England have on D. We really need to get creative in order to get through, around or over them.
I think we need to start challenging the fringes with snipes and pick n go’s with offloads, like DuPont does with France.
Ok so it makes it harder to score tries not impossible. Razor identified kicks as the deciding factor SA kicked theirs and we missed ours RWC final, SA v Ire 2nd test 8 Penalties v 1 try c, 4 p, 2 dk's

Jordan back wing adds much needed pace and high ball skills💪 who takes other wing clarke or reece -- lot to like lot to improve on but razor can 👀 that🖤💯🏉

We could still use Cane. 95 test experience will add to the group.
Canes selection will be based on pity and absolutely pointless as he won't be at the next RWC
@@unfiltered2 it's not pointless there's a 2 match series vs the Boks in South Africa plus a tough end of year tour - there's value in Cane for this year.
