This is a really cool concept to explore. I've had thoughts about dreaming along these lines, but I never knew Ito had actually made a story about it. There are other series, such as dothack or Sword Art that explore similar outcomes, being trapped in another life while your real body is idle. Those experiences are still very much real, but they don't represent life in the "truthful" sense. As for Ito's story, being pulled from one existence to another, it's only natural for your sense of reality to completely break down. Are you even alive at that point? Even if normal living rejects you, an entirely different plane of existence could welcome you with open arms. Wild stuff, great video, and nice editing on this one too!
I think the concept is phenomenal. This isn’t even a horror story, just 32 pages of strong philosophical and ethical questions that may never find answers, but it’s still somewhat important to ask them. I’m happy you appreciated the visuals!!!!
