I used to be an Nvidia fan, but they are getting high on their own supply. I'm hoping that Intel will continue improving their GPU's, and shake up the current price gouging system that is allowing Nvidia to give a card a new series name, only increasing the specs for the 70 80 and 90 series, and charging way too much for them. The 4060 (and I'm assuming the 4050 if it exists) has lower specs than the 3060 almost across the board. actually, you have the a770 going against overclocked versions of a cost tier higher than what it should be. you can get the a770 for $320 which is about the same cost as a 6700 and 3060. there is a 6700xt for $360, but thats still $40 more.
Arc performance improvement is amazing and proves Intel commitment. To achieve this in couple months time says a lot. If priced competitive this can be a good buy.
If A770 16GB Went down to $319 USD and $300 USD for the 8GB model that could be pretty compelling. Overclocking on the A770 takes about 4 seconds to figure out. If the fan profile isn't available then you have to edit one of the config files to show it.... other than that just set the boost to 40, core voltage to +25mv, power limit to 225w and change the fan curve to being 90% @ 70c, 95% @ 85c and 100% @ 100c.
