OMG!!! It's about time someone actually does a project with typical home power tools. Every one says "DIY" but they have a garage of professional and industrial tools. Thank you for your amazing video.
Thanks for the idea and the tips! I have made four of these to give away as gifts. I used 16mm MDF on one of them and 15mm pine board for the others. All finished in high gloss white. All of them thought it was a cool and useful thing to get, so thanks 👍🏼
This is really elegant.I too tried something on these lines but its a bit more elaborate. I can share it's snap and would very much welcome your feedback for improvement
❤ Thanks! I'm going to do the same, but add spots for my watch and bluetooth, as well. Imade something similar that hangs on the wall, but this I can place on my nightstand! ❤
Please don’t use a forstner bit with a hand drill. At the very least, clamp down the piece being drilled. It is far to easy for the bit to catch the wood and spin the workpiece. Worse, resist the temptation to hold th workpiece down with your other hand. The bit can jump out of the hole and, if your holding hand is too close, you can hurt yourself. This happened to me. I ended up in the emergency room after the bit made a mess of my left thumb, ripping off the nail and making a gash that required stitches.
I just downloaded the plans from your website , there is a problem when printed only blank pages where the written instructions should be the pictures with the measurements show print but thanks for the download. Ronnie
I double checked everything and the pdf is fine with all the written directions. Looks like maybe an issue with the browser or download. Please try downloading again. Or email hello@anikasdiylife.com
