- Use an old phone charger and watch all the channels of the world in good quality , I am happy to share with you an amazing way to use your old phone charger. With a few quick guides and materials, you can create a super antenna that will perfectly pick up the signal for your TV.
To begin with, we need an old charger and an adapter that we will insert into the charging holes. Then we take two wires about 15 cm long, which will be responsible for receiving the signal from television channels.
After all the components are prepared, we can assemble the antenna. We insert the adapter into the charger, make two even holes and connect the wires to the corresponding contacts. Now our antenna is ready to use!
Just plug it into your TV and enjoy the result. I am sure that you will be pleasantly surprised by the number of channels that your TV managed to find. Don't forget to share your results in the comments!

Retired cable guy here....I was intrigued by ur video so much that I went out to the old tool shed and made exactly the same thing. Immediately I was astonished cause not only do I have perfect and free 5g wireless/ultra fast wifi/live police scanner/I can tap in to the starship enterprise and have daily conversations with the commander/all of my wife's hair has fallen out tho and I'm not ruling out other possible causes to that but what do I care? Literally mindboggling good sir!

A little advice....my grandson is a heck of a tech wizard but I had to block his access to this thing just this morning...after I caught him trying to access launch codes to nuclear defense missiles....if I would have walked in 2 seconds later half of planet earth wouldnt be here right now. Maybe u could childproof it or get an LLC so you dont get used. Idk. Okay byeeeeeee

The 1975 TV is an analog TV. It only picks up analog signals. You have to have a converter box to go from digital to analog in the US.
And for my next trick a mobile phone made from a tin of beans 😮

Fun little project, but I bought my antenna at the store to receive all of the Digital free channels. With good reception/antenna you actually get a better picture with the live, free hd channels than cable/satellite or internet tv. Anyone can plug an antenna or rabbit ears as we used to call them into their tv and get these channels. I can drive to the store faster than it would take to do this diy project.

I simply stripped a piece of coax cable about a foot long with a threaded end on it. Shaped it into a circle and plugged it in to the TV and get over 25 channels including all my main local channels clear as a can be. Took about a minute with a piece of scrap coax.

Я вместо старой зарядки использовал старый будильник. Он заработал!!! Теперь сутками смотрю программу "Время".
Я что то побаиваюсь .От прабабки остался будильник .Но если его подключу,боюсь что кроме"Боже Царя храни ..."ни чего не выйдет .

Приятель, это элементарно!!! Втыкаешь вилку утюга (через переходник) в звуковой выход любого радио-теле-устройства. И слушаешь аудио. Правда, тихо. Испробовано. Сейчас я работаю над выводом на утюг изображения. Полагаю подать заявку на изобретение в Нобелевский комитет. Только боюсь, что не утвердят в силу их некомпетентности.

I have 39 years' experience as an RF engineer, and have designed and built many antennas. You are better off sticking a coat hanger in the antenna jack instead of wasting time, and a good phone charger, on this silliness.

I just love the demonstration of the safe way to use tools, a hammer and a screwdriver on an unsecured object. Using a power drill like that is a good way to cripple your hands. The worst demonstration of soldering I've ever seen, and I used to teach teenagers how to do it properly. You heat up the items to be soldered first, then apply the solder. If you paint melted solder onto the items then you will likely get no joint or a dry joint. You also risk dripping hot solder onto your fingers and elsewhere.
You basically risked serious injuries to make the kind of ariel that can easily be bought online very cheaply and will be as effective, i.e. it will give you only those locally available unencrypted analogue channels still broadcast you could get with your original ariel. Seems legit.

There used to be a product that used the houses wiring as a antenna. Did not work so well. Got more channels using a old metal cot frame 😂

Rabbit ear antenna only & plugged into a UHF or VHF antenna socket on a TV. I'm a UK Ham Radio operator. We are experts in electronics. The electronics were removed (not that they would pick any RF TV channels up) All he made was a Rabbit ear antenna (like the old 1960s ones) Why bother wrecking your charger. As for picking up channels from around the world no way'.

No worldwide channels the only thing from the phone was the plastic case. No electronics, that it would matter if it was. That fool may have caused someone to break up their charger on the promise of free international TV. that Russian Guy in the comments made one stupid comment. when I said ham radio operator are experts in electrons. He said they must be Russian in UK as Russians are the only Ones who can. Daft sod for believing that antenna contraption could work. Incidentally I recently came up with a great modification & tested today a mod to remove clipping distortion with MOSFET amplifiers to bias better replacements to stop distortion. MOSFET are dirt cheap & can amplify a great deal. The Guy who made this video could not be relied upon to repair a clockwork Mouse if He thinks that antenna will do what He claims. @@allenmontalvo1048
