I’ll add two tips-
The quick selection tool works really well after you practice with it. For instance, changing the selection size makes a huge difference when using the tool!
If you cut or copy something and paste it elsewhere,trace the edges with the smudge tool. For instance, if you paste a different face on someone, trace the edges of the face with the smudge tool and it will help blend the edges of the paste.

Really cool updates to the selection tool! that has always been one of the tedious things I found in Photoshop to do a good job of selecting and masking. I really loved when content aware was add and now this is content aware on steroids!
Yes, content aware has gotten a boost! I just hope that it will update to content prediction soon, so it can predict and generate entirely new pixels behind the subjects, like Dall-E in the future :)

love the clear way that you explain all new features in your video . I just update to version 24.1 in windows but the shortcuts for delete and fill like shift del or alt del are not working and I notice that the content aware fill is less accurate for some reason .. So i just go back to 24.0 and content aware looks like it do a better job but the shorcuts are still not working.. any ideal?.. I am missing something here? . I am still impressed but that shorcuts were fast time saving..
I tried to hover over the lady but only the sky will light up with a pink selection...I wanted to hover over the girl to select her but it just won't do it...any suggestions? thanks....

Great tutorial for a beginner like me.
Basically it's not very good yet is it oh dear still a long way away from being a pro tool Sadly I'll still have to manually select objects as I mainly shoot landscape, Good to know that adobe are trying to make it easier tho
If I use the new quick feature - select subject, and then edit that subject as a separate layer, how do I get rid of the hard edge around the subject? Not sure if I'm asking the question properly, but so far, as a play with the new features I like the AI but I'm seeing a halo or hard edge around arms, hair, and the outer portion of the subject. I know there's a way to soften those edges so that my subject (after edited) doesn't look like a cutout. Any advice? Thanks as always for your amazing tutorial videos. You're the best!

Hey PG - in the market for new editing headphones. How do you find the headphone’ audio ‘feel’ when editing? Is it fairly honest and true for your videos or does it enhance audio ranges like bass/mids/treble? Appreciate your thoughts.
Love all the new features but I am not an iOS fan. If Adobe is going to make updates to mobile devices do it for both platforms!

Great episode, thanks. With Adobe apps most confusing is how many features are behing CTRL..ALT..SHIFT.. and you just need to know all of them.
You can go to Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts and change them to ones of your choice that you can remember

hahah, imagine receiving a photo and asking the photographer, "Wait a minute, did you remove somebody right here?" I see a bit of duplicate pixels happening in this area.

You can right click on the selection to delete and fill with content aware fill.

Nothing new in photoshop. For the last 10 yeats nothing has changed. It's still painfully slow on my gaming notebook the same as it was back in 2007 on 1.4ghz/128mb ram pc.

Shift delete isn’t working for me. Is there a reason for this. It’s all updated
You need to make sure the object selection tool is active, so it's selected. If not you can always right click on the section to delete with content aware fill if you don't want to use the shortcut.
@@PremiereGal my shortcut does not work either, I thought maybe that function was not available yet but thanks to your comment I found the right click alternative. Weird that not everyone can use the shift + delete shortcut

Same here. The right click and select delete with content aware fill works, but the shortcut doesn't. But thanks to explain the new features, it's realy easy to understand.

What's new in V24? Well - nothing. Just more unusable filters and selection tools. Photoshop quickly turns into a smartphone app. What about updating the brush engines or make smart objects more usable. Oh yeah. Those might be really usable features.
