- In this TIE TV the living fly tying legend Andreas Andersson shows how to tie one of his own fantastic flies - the Unholy Diver. It has a very unique action in the water which will make both brown trout and sea run brown trout go crazy. It is still rather easy to tie if you follow the steps provided in the video. Happy tying!

Shanks: Articulated fish spine 15 mm x 2, Partridge 20lb 49 strands wire
Glue: Zap brush on, Zap gel, Gulff UV resin Thinman
Thread: UTC 140 orange, Textreme Power Thread 150D White
Head: Deer hair in Gray/Dun
Eyes: Fly Dressing Epoxy eyes 5.5 mm oval dubbel black pearl
Body: Extra select craft fur in gray and white, Palmer chenille Medium Pearl

Oh man! This is such an incredible tie! I'm definitely going to try this on our monster brown trout here in New Zealand!
I would like to win that fly because I’m relatively new to fly fishing but I like predators, so I think it would be the perfect fly for me to catch all kinds of predators because it’s so universal! I’m sure that pike, perch or trout will take it confidently!!

It's been a while since I went "Holy S**t!" while hooking a fish. It only makes sense that I use this unholy diver to make that happen. Would be awesome to have one tied by the legend himself to use as reference. :)

Nice fly my local lake will not allow that on the water but would love to try it on a river then again the hook would have to be a size 10 not to worry excellent vid
This could be a perfect pattern for big perch. I’am fishin shallow water at finnish arcipelago. Fast stripping make perch going crazy ;)

Excellent tie (as usual)! For the articulation wire part, do you not ever use "anti-fouling" beads and such, or is this fly an exception. More precisely, what is your opinion about "anti-fouling" beads, etc.? Thanks!
that tp689 hook... i've had some pretty bad luck with that model. Points shattered, the bend behind the eye would snap quite often. Not a fan. Nice fly though! I do tie this on a B10 and bend the hook myself.

If I get the fly can put it to the test and to the reach with some prerdatory topical fish in Campeche México: Tarpon, snook, barracuda, jack crevalle, snapper and more.
Streemer like this will NEVER work in Icelandic rivers ;) , but it would be fun trying one :)
