You are amazing, Emily. Yes! I agree on screws for handles and knobs. I got lucky in my kitchen on changing my cabinet handles. I could use the same screws. But knobs on my bathroom cabinet were another story. My son fixed the problem. Yea! And a hexagon side table that my friend and I restored, I found the most unique figure 8 antique brass handles that matched the old hinges,on Amazon. But my friend had to give me 2 washers to make them tighter. Same problem with the knobs on my TV cabinet. My so😅n had to cut the screws in order to fit tighter. Geez!

I had the same problem with handle screws. I ended up going to the hardware store and getting the snap off screws which worked a treat. Lovely job! Love the window casings.

I know you already installed them and they look great!, but there are a few different choices of spray paint that you could have used to get that champagne gold color you love for your shelf brackets. I find myself doing that 'fix' all the time with products that aren't exactly what I want but will work.

Beautiful job . Tip for you before you stain treat your board the stain will not be splotchy and go on much easier. Love your style. We just bought our home and we are working hard to get it finished. My husband builds all our cupboards and furniture. Your an inspiration
Great job so far. I can’t wait to see the next installment. Your screw dilemma had me nodding with sympathy, as a year ago we built a home and so many of the handles were just a touch loose due to the improper length of screws that came with the hardware. I don’t remember having this problem 13 years ago when we built our other house. Now they just give you a long screw with several places to cut for proper length, which sounds like a solution except it works in theory but not in practice.
The kitchen came out very nice, only thing I don’t like is the stove, I don’t even know where you would find that kind of electric stove top they stopped making them that way in like 30 years

Oh wow $2300 on the countertop that was so out of my budget we went with butcherblock and it looks amazing we had to buy 2 to fill the whole area but it was like $550 we had an extremely low budget plus our home is only 748 sq ft so really a tiny home but it had 3 bedrooms now it has 2 bedrooms and a dining room lol

Your kitchen is amazing. I like the quartz and love the shelf stain color and to me it's not too bright, more muted to me. I like the flat top knob, but maybe you want a change.

Love the countertops. I liked the larger knobs. The little ones look teeny from across the room compared to the handles and chunky shelves. Love the decor you added to the open shelves. Is this a rental?
