Probably the greatest Phillies run in franchise history they won more games than any team in the National League between 2007-2011averaging 94 wins, five straight NL East Titles, Two Pennants, and a World Series title. That was really a shame they didn't get back to the series in ''11.
I remember the 2011 Phillies! They were promptly discharged from the season by the Cardinals in a 1 to nothing shutout if I recall. The final out was memorable: Ryan Howard crumbling in a heap trying to run to 1st base on an infield ground ball. Seeya!
teddyjun1 he pitched his guts and heart out that game. I remember Ibanez hits a long ball that goes off the wall and if there was a couple extra feet then it’s a three run homer and we win. I also remember just the memory of the cardinals celebrating on our field as us fans are distraught on how the season ended. And then you look at Roy he looked defeated and distraught and at that point we didn’t even know that our time had came and would eventually be on the decline
Their run of dominance kinda coincided with the Tigers run that they went on. I would have loved to see those two match up in the World Series. They could of swept us too in 2012 I don’t care 😂 it would of been a fun series

game 5 of this NLDS has to be top 10 if not top 5 biggest heartbreaks in philly sports history. they were so close.
Chooch, JRoll, Hamels, Howard, Utley and the "Flyin Hawaiin" have earned their spots on the "Wall".
As has Halladay. #RIPDoc
Don’t forget Cliff Lee

Ryan Howard getting hurt on their final play was devastating. No one could of known how symbolic that would be for the Phillies’ future :(
We should’ve won the World Series in 2011
Rest in piece Roy

Should have won it all. When we let Utley go that destroyed us. We need a top all star again
