When Harry passed, it crushed me. I really wanted them to repeat in 2009...for Harry. Now...any future title the boys win, its for you Harry! We miss you brother! But one thing we'll always have? High Hopes!

I miss Harry the K. He was an absolute legend. Easily the best announcer in baseball and sports history.

These highlights make me feel like I'm watching something from the mid nineties lol. The faded quality, the wholesome audio and commentary. Still love it though. Go Phils!

Chase was incredible in World Series. I grew up a Yanks hater in upstate NY, so it was very disappointing when they lost. Still, a tremendous season.

Pedro pitching with swine flu really cost us the title, it’s a shame

@@user-rj4ff4my4h I’m a huge fan of the game but a yankee fan first. Blaming swine flu for old man Pedro costing you a World Series against a clearly superior team was just the funniest excuse I’ve ever come across. What was the Phillies plan that World Series? Cliff Lee and pray for rain? Everyone else they ran out was total garbage and stood no chance of keeping the Yankee lineup down.

@@liberalweirdo7886 nice essay! So you do come around to Phillies videos to say silly things. What a life you must have.

‘Liberal weirdo’ is actually a perfect name for you. Why don’t you keep your winning streak going and tell me about how 7 Dems voting against $15 minimum wage is actually 4D chess or whatever

Would love to get payback against the Yankees in the World Series in my lifetime. We've already seen the Eagles get revenge against the Patriots in the Super Bowl so mark my words, the Phillies will beat the Yankees in the World Series someday & will get revenge for 09'. Would be nice to silence those schmuck Yankee fans as well!

I think it's definitely safe to say as of right now; both the Phillies and the Eagles are better than the Yankees and Patriots. Yes the Yankees have Aaron Judge, but Phillies have wayyy more depth than them. And the Eagles definitely are committed to winning just like the Phils (in which it looked like it might be another rebuilding year - once Thomson replaced Girardi, the clubhouse mentality changed, and the star players produced). The Patriots will still do okay, but not like they have in the past since TB12 left them.
