Ultimate Review | Iberia Flagship A350 | Wide-body on short haul European flight

Welcome to my 603rd flight on Iberia A350-941 from London Heathrow to Madrid Barajas Airport. This is my first time flying Iberia (62nd airlines) and their Flagship A350 and I am excited to experience the airline and aircraft. Iberia is one of the few airlines, which still operate wide-body on short European routes. The other I have tried was Finnair A350-900 from LHR to HEL. For this flight, I paid slight over £60 for a return flight from LHR to MAD, both on Iberia A350-900, which was really a bargain. Who can resist such a deal? Another reason for the trip was I am OneWorld Emerald member, which allows me entry to all British Airways lounges at LHR T5 (including First Lounge). As someone else said, this particular A350 (EC-OAV & OAX) are former Hainan and Azul aircraft, meaning they don’t offer the standard IB product.
Flagship A350s are from EC-NVR onward (NXD, NXE, OAY, OES, OFM) with the new “Next” cabin interiors.

Actually, that cabin interior isn´t actually Iberia´s normal cabin design but that aircraft used to be operated by Hainan Airlines, Iberia is leasing it and still haven´t changed the interior
