Lmao "worse guitar tone than Offspring first album" I think he meant that this cover and arrangement was written back then, and they re performed it for this album. I never knew that, but I believe it Because I DO know that Hassan Chop's breakdown and solo are from an old offspring demo cassette, I don't remember the exact song but the cassette had Blackball and Ballroom blitz, and a few other songs, one of which was a prototype for Hassan Chop
It is a pity that I cannot tell you personally, but at least I will tell you on your personal channel. Thank you for your creativity. Thank you for those wonderful days that I spent with you. Thank you for the wonderful years that I have lived with you. You and your music helped me to live in the most difficult life situations. I have been listening and admiring you since I was 10, and now I'm 34. One of the goals of my life is to attend your concert. I really hope you will come to Ukraine. Love you. You are better than anything that ever happened to punk rock. Your lifelong fan Dmitry.
We all love Edvard Grieg’s «In the Hall of the Mountain King» from its tentative opening to its loud, frenetic ending. But the choral version is even more nuts... Norwegian composer Grieg wrote «In the Hall of the Mountain King» as an interlude for Henrik Ibsen’s 1867 play, Peer Gynt, and it’s most widely known as an orchestral piece. But there’s also a choral version. The choir is generally only heard in the context of the play, as the lyrics come from the trolls who completely surround the main character Peer Gynt at that point. The trolls are pretty vicious, as are their lyrics. In fact, Grieg’s whole choral addition is super intense and scary. Here’s the full text: Slagt ham! Kristenmands søn har dåret Dovregubbens veneste mø! Slagt ham! Slagt ham! Må jeg skjære ham i fingeren? Må jeg rive ham i håret? Hu, hej, lad mig bide ham i låret! Skal han lages til sod og sø? Skal han steges på spid eller brunes i gryde? Isvand i blodet! Slay him! The Christian man’s son has seduced the fairest maid of the Mountain King! Slay him! Slay him! May I hack him on the fingers? May I tug him by the hair? Hu, hey, let me bite him in the haunches! Shall he be boiled into broth and bree to me Shall he roast on a spit or be browned in a stewpan? Ice to your blood, friends!
Grieg composed «In the Hall of the Mountain King» as an interlude for Henrik Ibsen’s 1867 play, Peer Gynt, and it’s most widely known as an orchestral piece.
Воистину удивляет то, что в описании не указано авторство музыки: это фрагмент из сюиты норвежского композитора Эдварда Грига на пьесу Генрика Ибсена «Пер Гюнт» конца 19 в.
Fun fact: this cover has existed since 1987 but has never been put on an album until now, 34 years later.
Cool!
False, even if it was real it would have a worse guitar tone than The Offspring's First album

In the Hall of the Mountain King is an 1875 orchestral piece composed by Edvard Grieg. Offspring did a dope job on this one
His whole Peer Gynt Suite is just amazing.
Savatage did this sing as well. it's great too. I suggest checking it out😊
It is doper than the old one
Offspring is Offspring: great and simple at the same time. Incredible this classic case! I love The Offspring!!!
Why does the minute on the microwave never go by that fast?
Depend if you spend the minute in the microwave
Here. Have a like.
Just play this song everytime you're using it 😉
Because you're waiting for the microwave to finish, and you don't want the video to end
I would love to hear you guys take on other "Classics" as an album.
Спасибо! Так держать! 🤟🤟🤟
