In this informative tutorial, I walk you through the reassembly of the turbo charger on a Jeep Renegade 1.4L Multiair engine, which is also utilised in various other Jeep, Fiat and Alfa Romeo vehicles. This is the second instalment of a two-part series where I address the fault and carefully disassemble the turbo, receive the parts, and reassemble. Using a cheap Chinese rotating assembly I was able to fix the car for a fraction of the cost saving over $1200! I was amazed at what I found when I stripped the turbo down! Whether you're a DIY enthusiast or looking to understand the inner workings of your turbocharger, this video provides a detailed guide to help you get started on your project.
Check out Part 1 to find out how I diagnosed the problem with the car.

You should really change that blowoff valve with a better one. The factory Fiat/Chrysler ones suck. Look into the GFB ones or Forge Motorsports ones.
Great video. Looks like you can save serious money with these Chinese replacement units.

Hey Steve, thanks for watching and your comment, I will check them out. It's funny after completing the work the blowoff was so much louder, just goes to show how long the turbo was faulty for. The Chinese parts are still going strong, I am going to make a review video shortly after I have been using the car for another month or so.

    Very good videos!!!!!
I have a Jeep Compass from 2018 with nearly 87000 kilometres now and it works very good.
Where did you buy the spare parts?

Forge Motorsports makes a very good one. I installed one on my North American Fiat 500L, which is almost identical to the Jeep renegade as far as the engine and turbo is concerned. The Turbosmart ones are also supposed to be pretty good, especially if you're not tuning your engine.
I don't know about the Chinese units.
