    This sounds like therapist who got me out of the wheelchair and walking again. He told me I needed to walk through the pain in order to "re-wire" nervous system before I would stop feeling the pain

      Ohhhh I've walked and exercised and nope....still in debilitating pain

    • @thunderbird3694
      @thunderbird3694 12 дней назад

      @@AG-nn8lp I had to start with short walks in halls of my condo, then around the block and it took me nearly a year to reach 1/2 mile non-stop. I think I may have walked as far as 1 mile on occasion, but I usually stop and rest after 1/2 mile. Over past 5 years I have over-done it on a couple occasions which would leave me home-bound for a couple weeks, but then I would start over again. Now I monitor my activity more closely, trying not to walk more than 5 miles/week and resting my feet after 1/2 mile, also use spiked ball under feet and soak them in epsom salt daily, along with Scraping and Gua Sha before bed. I wear Naboso recovery socks with kyBuns or Hoka Bondis outside the home. Don't know if any or none of these things played a role, but haven't used wheelchair in over 5 years now.
      When I was using wheelchair I could not even walk around my condo without throwing pillows on the floor with each step, now I can walk barefoot on hardwood floors on occasion if necessary

      Hi Angelique. What a beautiful name. I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. You need to look up the protocol set out by Dr. Terry Wahls. She's a medical research doctor and medical school professor who developed advanced MS that put her in a wheel chair. When she realized that the traditional medical system had nothing to offer her, she began doing her own research and implementing the things she learned from clinical studies. She full reversed her MS, no longer uses a wheel chair and is an active cyclist. She's written books and has been featured on TedTalk. I'm going to give you links to a couple of the videos we did on MS and one of them talks about Dr. Terry Wahl's work.

    Really, it speaks my heart. I realized that as long as i am negative, it never helps. As you said, the first step is "intent." may i add one more! That is recognition. I found it from another source of lecture. Because patients often dont like to recognize that they have an issue. By recognizing the fact that you have an issue, you are opening the door of mind to move forward. Else brain realises your illness is not abnormal, so actually, it doesn't find its own pathway of recovery. But recognizing the fact, i found it elevated the process to be cured faster. Hope it helps.

    I paid 5100 to a chiropractic clinic for the neuropathy therapy. Got supplements, evaluation, some office visits and an Anodyne pro 300 infrared 890 nanometer device to stimulate blood flow and nerve growth, and a ReBuilder model 300 electric stimulus machine to stimulate nerve growth.
    After 6 months I noticed a slight improvement which means 6 months where it didn't get worse 😊.
    So I paid 900 for a 2nd Anodyne machine so I could do both feet/lower legs at the same time.
    ReBuilder does both feet at the same time.
    Nerve repair is so slow.

      Hi Amelia. Unfortunately it's not just because your old. OUr health care system is absolutely abysmal and most doctors have gotten very lazy and complacent and no longer look to do more than just write prescriptions. So, the first thing you need to do is get a diagnosis to see what's causing your numbness and tingling. Is it peripheral nerve damage or a different chronic illness. That's the first place you need to start. If it's peripheral neuropathy, there's a lot that can be done to reverse your condition. Here's a link to one of our videos: ruclips.net/video/wPruq49-ksU/видео.html

Still fully mobile, 75-80% flexible, I'm supplementing to increase BDNF and support myelin healing, posture in all positions, exercise to balance physical stress, keeping my back warm and nerve flossing. How to correct disc deflation? I wrestle with inability to conceive a mechanism to restore my discs. Thank you for reminding I can direct my mind.

    Hi from New Delhi, India, Dr Monteiro. My neuropathy is much better, no more pain, no cramped frozen foot, but a lingering weakness in the leg and foot plus in the bones. Despite this I attended a nieces' wedding ceremony last month, for which I dressed up in my silk sari and descended the stairs alone, took a taxi to and fro the venue alone! (I did return home to flop on the bed, exhausted😅)
    I want to ask two questions: (1) why does stopping supplements like Acetyl L. Carnitine and R ALA, create a sense of relief and relaxation in the body? And (2) exercise does stimulate the leg enough to make me steady but the flesh on my foot and leg still remains powerless and a bit scrawny? Eating more just makes me put on weight. Is this a frequent phenomenon among your patients?

    • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  17 дней назад +3

      Hi Bela. So glad to hear your neuropathy is doing much better. That's excellent news! Let me try to answer your questions. #1 I've never had a patient describe this phenomena to me before but here's what I can tell you about R-ALA and ALCAR. Both of these increase cellular ATP production, which is great. That's what you want and need for nerve healing, especially for strengthening the muscles. You need enough fuel for the muscles to get stronger. So, these supplements elevate the important metabolic functions within your body. #2 You must look at exactly what exercises you're doing, how often and how long or how many reps. You might not be exercising frequently enough or doing the most appropriate exercises to regain your strength. It's important for you to work with a physical therapist who can design an appropriate work out for you. Now, regarding the eating...If your diet is low in carbs, processed foods and sugar and is high in protein and green vegetables...YOU WILL NOT GAIN WEIGHT. So, it's important to examine what types of foods you're eating and how much. Now, if you tell me you don't eat any carbs or processed food but still gain weight, then I'm going to advise you to have blood work done to test your thyroid gland function. Hope this helps and keep up the great work.

    I purchased 1 bottle of NUPHORIA cm about 3 weeks ago, when I take it I get a mild burning sensation around my pancreas, is this normal ? I get the same sensation when I take a Cayenne pepper capsule.

    • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  17 дней назад

      Hi William. There's no cayenne pepper in Nuphoria cm Gold or Nerve Defense but the R-ALA and the benfotiamine do stimulate insulin sensitivity which is what you want. If you have a pancreas that is fatigued or dysfunctional this may be the issue, overstimulation too fast. So, what I would recommend is cutting your amount in half for 3 weeks. Take only 1 pill AM and 1 pill PM for 3 weeks. Then on week #4 increase the amount to 2 pills Am and 1 pill PM. Do this for another 3 weeks and then if you're still doing well, take it up to the full amount. Now, if at any point in time you increase the amount and get the burning sensation in your pancreas, simply drop back down to the last amount where you didn't experience a problem and stay at that amount for another month before trying to increase again. If you need further instructions don't hesitate to call us: 844-400-0101

    • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  17 дней назад

      Yes, Daniel, your ex-wife, in her infinite wisdom, is absolutely correct. None of us can cheat death. We will all cross over one day. But here's what most people don't realize. It's not the dying part that's scary...it's how you go. Would you rather die of natural causes (old age) where you just lay your head down on the pillow and pass; or would you prefer to suffer and writhe in pain dying from a horrible disease and a slow agonizing death? Those are things that people don't think about when they eat processed foods, smoke, over consume alcohol, don't get enough sleep, etc. It might surprise you that in the era of my grandparents, who are long gone now, most of their friends died of natural causes (not all but most). My grandfather unfortunately died of lung cancer from smoking cigars and pipes the majority of his life, but my grandmother (his wife) died of natural causes...old age. She didn't smoke, she didn't drink. I don't know about you, but that's how I prefer to go...Naturally, no pain, no suffering! I keep that in my prayers but take the necessary actions in my lifestyle to help make it come to fruition (but hopefully not for a very, very long time-LOL)
