Imagine that: Ballroom dancing on ice. Remarkably, every individual movement, hand and arm gesture, facial expression, etc., was perfectly synchronized. They incorporated true foxtrot and quickstep ballroom forms in their routine; and I especially loved their quickstep, which was lively and sharp. All these years together have truly paid off for them because they are truly the champs of the ice in every way, as well as unbeatable! Kudos and a huge BRAVO to the both of them for such an amazing achievement.
I feel so lucky that we lived in an era to see D/W and V/M push the sport forward. I’m so glad they both won Olympic gold medals and silver medals, and World gold and silver, in their time. Two unbelievable teams, who gave us such beautiful programs and memories.
Absolutely. I still believe gold for both teams every time they competed. The best and closest rivalry I have ever seen. Only a sliver between them. Miles above their other competitors

Perfection on ice. I kept looking for the string that held them together. I couldn't believe how their movements mirrored each other. I gave up watching and thinking pairs was so much more difficult the day I first watched these two do a "twizzle" in this and other competitions.
They are so wonderful. I love Virtue and Moir but I am proud that Davis and White won Gold for the USA! They are like Fonteyn and Nureyv. They are totally in sync.
