Great work mate! The finish on that powder coat looks great 🤩 I’m not sure I could personally do the mismatched set. My eye would be twitching at 2am while I lie awake thinking about it. Great video though!
Like your new wheels they really transform your truck, nearly went to sleep in the back of it when I saw it at the Yealmpton show a few days ago😂😂. You seem to have the same luck as me when you try to get anything done, sorry too busy come back in 3 years, anyway they look brilliant.
@@BorisTheDefender haha I know it must be a landrover thing, I have an old 1996 landrover discovery1 which was, believed it or not imported into the Uk from Japan so nobody recognises the reg number or vin number when I want parts but thankfully they’re all the same so Dave at Brookwells Bovey sorts me out, I use it everyday, I’m retired but use it for pulling a trailer getting logs out of the woods etc it’s a 3.9 v8 petrol. May see you at a show somewhere.Ray.
Have you noticed any difference in the handling after fitting the new wheels? I fitted 30mm spacers to the factory wheels on my Disco' 2 to accommodate slightly larger tyres without rubbing and I was quite surprised at how much more "floaty" the Disco' feels to drive. It's not dangerous or unpredictable but it's definitely... different. Fitting wheels with a smaller offset should have the opposite effect and sharpen up the handling considerably... relatively speaking, bearing in mind it's a Landie, of course.
Hey, thanks so much! It’s a disco 2 Jack. Came with them new. Available on eBay. I’m not too precious about it really, thankfully they won’t rust. Haha
@@BorisTheDefender would be handy having one of them in the spare, although that's not really an issue now it's got a tyre on it from this century that actually holds air
I used to have 255/85/16 KM3s they were great. They were 33” and a bit tall for my transfer box ratio. I decided to go for a smaller all round tire as I do a lot of motorway miles. I’ve done 20,000miles on this set of KO2’s and they still look new
I love the way “North Devon Tyres” spin the tyre on the new powder coat while the wheel is on the tyre machine.

Haha thank you! Thankfully I’m not that much of a perfectionist so can let things pass like that. Annoyed me at first but they are near identical.
Congratulations look fab. Now thinking about White on my Grenadier...
Yeah good idea! What colour is your truck? :)
They look awesome!
Thank you buddy!

Thank you so much! Yeah I love them.
It does have that effect doesn’t it. Makes me tired!

I haven’t noticed anything yet actually. I will have to see with more driving. I suspect you might be right!
Those are Dope Jack... They would look good on my Van. I'm always looking for a set of OZ Rally for my Delica
Thanks so much mate! Yeah they would look rad on that. Love a white rally wheel in the right place.
They look so good man! Well worth the wait
Thanks so much buddy! Exmoor billet film next. Yours look so good in the silver!
Why did you go with the blindo wheels versus the EVO corse wheels? Price, weight, offset?
Look great.
What size are the tyres?
They are 265/75/16 👍
Looks great! Thanks for sharing!!
What bottlejack do you have?
Now the wheels are spot on, are you not now just worried about scuffing them?

Fancy! …are they lighter? Though I reckon you can’t go past classic Wolf Rims (black/white/any colour) on a Defender.
I haven’t felt anything different on them yet. I believe they are lighter though.
Love them wheels done in white also what rear door glass do you have fitted
Thank you so much. Explore glazing make openable windows
@@BorisTheDefenderthank you I’ll have a look now
Those run flat rings look interesting, is there a manufacturer stamp or part number?
They are called dynamic run flat inserts. Cool bits of kit.

Hi Boris! i am from Brasil. Could please what is the calibrated preassure psi in the weel?
I change the amount I use for different places. 48psi for big loads on the motorway and 26 off-road.
Thanks a lot!
I dont get it why bfg dont paint their sidewall writting in white anymore in mt version of tyres
Yeah that’s a shame
So why are you back on ko2 instead of KM2 ?
Aren't the mud terrain horrendously noisy on tarmac?
