Nice video. You both should come up to Croton-on-Hudson for annual The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze. Croton is a very beautiful small town that's not too far from Sleepy Hollow.
Nice video. I was there at the end of September last year but went to see the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze. It was very cool. We were traveling from North Carolina, so we got into town in time to check into our motel and drive over to Sleepy Hollow just as it was getting dark. We didn't get to see much of the area, so we really enjoyed seeing your video.
Nice video, i really want to visit sleepy hollow one day and it was cool you highlighted some areas other than just the church and bridge. there is another bridge called the headless horseman bridge i think from what i've seen in other videos that looks more historic.
I had to pause the video to study the glass pumpkins, I like the one with the blue lightning stripes to the left of your favorite behind the smaller ones! LOL Wow, what a gorgeous area! Loved seeing the trees in the fall! Sweet video!
I was born in NYC but grew up in neighboring Ossining and spent loads of summers in Tarrytown. Fond memories. Travel much. Not there for almost 50 years. Nice to see someone else come from city with an open mind and watch their view and enjoying. Except for few minor complaints nice video. Glad you saw so much including the Legend. Lots of changes since for me. Got me interested to explore more upon a return.🎉
@@sachainthecity Thank you 😊 This is the season for nostalgia. Prompting enjoyment from internet or making me wonder pushing me to go back soon. Keep doing great videos
Yes! It's so easy. You can use Maps and it will tell you which Metro North line to take and at what time. I can't remember whether Tarrytown's station is a smaller one where you need to be in one of the first few cars for it, but the person going around checking tickets can definitely advise you.
It was at Kingsland Park. We learned about it on the Visit Sleep Hollow website and it says it is they're made by Gregory Tomb and benefit Make A Wish Hudson Valley.
I never thought there's such a beautiful place in NY. Every time someone say NY I'm thinking about building, noise, Brooklyn, Bronx, crimes, homeless, garbages, dirty subways. Sorry NYC, nothing personal just get your act together.

That’s such a funny coincidence because I just went last night! It was really cool!
Thanks for showcasing my hometown!! I don’t live there anymore but come back every couple of months. I really miss it.
Of course! It must've been a special place to grow up.

Thank you! I hope you had fun at Blaze and get another opportunity in the future to check out Sleepy Hollow.

That is a cool one! Thank you for sharing your favorite.
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the vlog. Your food recommendations look pretty amazing. Will give that a try on the next trip soon. Want to stop at Playa Bowl first :)
Enjoy! I later learned that there’s Playa Bowls in NYC as well.
@@sachainthecity good to know, although there's plenty of food to explore :) But your recommendations sounded all pretty good
@@katelovesnyc Thank you! I do hope you enjoy them!

@@kingdoc3262 That's very true! Thank you!
Good video, and thank you for not talking in "vocal fry"
We went the same weekend last year! So fun
How funny! What kind of stuff did you check out?
Those blue and the purple pumpkins were my favorites 😊
Very pretty! Thank you for sharing and for watching. :)
Amazing Views 🍁 ♥ Great Video
Thank you!
I recommend going on a lantern tour of the cemetery.
That is such a good point! I think we wanted to and it was sold out by the time we were going to book it. 😭
You have a great eye. Beautiful scapes.
Thank you so much! 😀
Is it going to be easy travelling to Tarrytown from Grand Central Terminal in December?
Yes! It's so easy. You can use Maps and it will tell you which Metro North line to take and at what time. I can't remember whether Tarrytown's station is a smaller one where you need to be in one of the first few cars for it, but the person going around checking tickets can definitely advise you.
Ok I give up, where was the glass pumpkin patch and who was running it?
It was at Kingsland Park. We learned about it on the Visit Sleep Hollow website and it says it is they're made by Gregory Tomb and benefit Make A Wish Hudson Valley.
Were those glass pumpkins expensive?
I can't remember exactly because it's been so long but I think they were upwards of $50 each for the smallest ones.

NYC definitely has its drawbacks, but I'm thankful only a little bit upstate you can find other beautiful palces.
Hi! Great video. There is a community blog in the works for Sleepy Hollow. Do you have an Instagram to chat about a collaboration?
Thank you! I do, but I'm not very active on it. It's sacha.teresa.
