    The views looked amazing on camera so I can’t imagine how beautiful they were in person. Thank you for taking us along.

      You’re right, the camera doesn’t do it justice. It’s so spectacular, you can see why they’ve used this site to film so many things. We are so glad we did this

    I was just in awe through this whole video. Core memory for sure I bet! When the horse just walked up to Bob to say hi ❤ all the scenery wow! Just all so beautiful. I’m with you guys I would take a sore booty for this any day.

      You know what was even funnier is that horse that came up to say hi ended up being the horse Kiya rode. It was like he chose us, it was so cool. We would do this again in a heartbeat, worth the $ and sore bum any day! 💕

    Jon was saying all the way through this how cool that was.
    The scenery looks beautiful.
    Im glad you rode the back of the horse instead of the front. Xxx

    This looks like a lot fun. Jack and I both went horseback riding with our families as young kids but it has been decades. I would love to do it again. The landscape at Kualoa Ranch is gorgeous. So many shows and movies we watched were filmed there. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us!

    What a great trip! I don't currently have a horse but did for most of my earlier life. I really miss riding! Love that you can use your phone for photos and video (unlike at Ft Wilderness...🙄). Glad you guys enjoyed it.

      Aw I bet you really miss having a horse! Yes it was so nice to be able to bring a phone, and a camera, and a water bottle riding. Disney is so much more strict for sure! We absolutely loved it. Thank you Maria!

    This is great! On our list to do. How far away from the disney resort?

    • @BobandKellyGo
      @BobandKellyGo  Год назад +1

      It’s on the complete opposite side of the island, allow an hour minimum to get there, but I’d leave 2 hours ahead so that you can explore the ranch and to allow for traffic. Sometimes the traffic on Oahu can get really backed up, especially around Honolulu.

      I’m debating horseback riding or zip line, but after hearing you guys were sore, I have to do zip line 😅 I don’t want to be sore for the rest of my stay.

    Were there any particularly steep cliffs next to you? My youngest is excited for a horseback ride when we're there, but is terrified of heights. Hard to tell at that one point how steep it is right next to you when you can see the ocean.

      Hi there! The section you saw in the vlog was the only time there will be any sort of cliff along the ride, but it’s covered with vegetation so it doesn’t look so scary. Bob doesn’t like heights either and he was just fine. Maybe distracting your youngest by looking for whale spouts out in the distance or just focusing on the trail ahead would help. The horses are very well trained and move quite slowly. I would maybe also tell your trail guide ahead of time so that they can be aware during that section of the ride.
      Have a great time!

    Are there any bathroom opportunities once you are on the horse?

    • @BobandKellyGo
      @BobandKellyGo  Год назад +1

      No unfortunately not. Once you are on the horse it’s a good hour and a half until you are back at the stables.

    Are short trunks enough or U suggest long for horse ride?

    • @BobandKellyGo
      @BobandKellyGo  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there, my husband wore longer shorts (almost to the knee) and was fine on the ride. I think you would be fine as long as they aren’t too short. Thanks so much for watching!

    Who did you book through?

    • @BobandKellyGo
      @BobandKellyGo  Год назад +1

      We booked directly through the Kualoa Ranch website. It was very easy, if you go to their website and look for “book your adventure” you’ll put in your range of dates you want to book for and it will come up with a list of available activities you can book. Thank you so much for watching!
