for your velcro door problem...I bought a new roll of high quality velcro and put new where the old was on the tube frame. it works amazing compared to the stock. I left the velcro on the door piece itself. Great Video
Look into the Only Generals roof peak filler, I see yours is warped like most end up, it will fix that right up, it also stops any wind from coming in there that can cause a whistle.
Wow! Never saw that. You are right. I need to get that!! I have their mirror triangles I still need to install. lol I’m an admin on the 2020+ generals Facebook group and I never saw that. I see the posts now. Dang. Good looking out!
I have the same machine with the factory upper doors. I just put the prongs that go into the the top of the door in a vice and pent them inward slightly. My upper doors fit very nice now. Tight seal. 👍👍👍👍
We have a 2021 General XP4 1000. Another great perk of a General and RZR is cheaper insurance. It’s considered a work Utv while the rzr is a sport utv.
Great review. We have a 2024 RZR razor XP 1000. We are older but I really wanted the speed. Or at least I thought I did. Well, as it turns out we’re gonna take a hit, but this is not the buggy for us. The three things I hate about it. You get so dusty. The dust comes in the cabin down by your legs and it just swirls around your face, we have to wear safety glasses or sunglasses anytime we ride and that includes even if we’re by ourselves. the other thing that is very annoying how we cannot have a conversation because it is so loud and that’s not fun. It is also extremely hot. we are trying to decide whether to get a general XP 1000 or an expedition ultimate. Both would be two seers from what I read there’s a lot of noise in the ultimate but that’s really what I would love to have. My husband wants the general XP 1000. I did read where you can switch the clutch out in the expedition and it helps with the sound I wish I knew someone who actually had one to verify that, I really appreciate your review. Thank you.
I lo ed the video i have xp 1000 2015 but i want to go to this . I live how they feel when i set in one. Watch the black slider on your shocks i had the same ones an i always cleaned the mud out but they rub a hole in shock body.. since then i had Custom Suspension out of Ky put new valve ing an single spring on my shocks omg the ride was way better than shock therapy set up...
Thank you for this very informative video. I purchased one and pick it up this weekend. We want to use ours for some overlanding trips. What trailer do you pull behind yours?
Awesome! Congrats. Check out a few pictures of my little utility trailer in this video around 21:45. Nothing fancy. Just more space for hauling stuff around the property.
Your backup camera display at 8:45 ... its missing the "green" colors (it shows everything being very pink). I just bought a new '24 XP4 Ultimate... its doing the same thing. Are they all this way? Or does mine have a similar problem to yours. I've only had mine less than 2 weeks so still under warranty.
I used the Auxbeam switch panel. I ran the light bar to the 30amp fuse. Made wiring it all super easy. Unfortunately, they aren’t cheap. amzn.to/3xcck9v
@@OurLifeInTrees Thanks. I haven’t found a plug & play harness rated high enough for that light bar and I don’t think I’ll have enough accessories to justify the Auxbeam.
@@OurLifeInTrees I looked at it, but couldn’t find any specs for it online. I ended up buying the curved Rigidhorse light bar, because it has a lower power rating, and a compatible plug & play harness from Amazon.

Thanks. Good tip. I’ll try new Velcro.
Glad you liked it.
Great review man! Very well detailed and informative!
Thank you. I’m glad it helped.
Great video on what you've done. Just did a bunch of upgrades to my '24
Thanks. Yeah I really like my General.

That’s very true! My insurance really did go down with the General. Neither are very cheap though because I have them street legal. Sigh….

I agree. Same reasons why I didn’t like my RZR. I love my General but the Xpedition looks amazing!!!
Thanks for sharing. I have a ‘22 trailhead edition and really like it. Did you happen to do an install video on the auxbeam gang switch install?
I did not. I should have though. It’s not very hard, a lot easier than individual switches.

Great review thank you!
I appreciate the feedback. Glad it was helpful.
The zipper opening on the rear door uppers is there to allow access to the door latch.
Yeah, I think it’s kind of a pain. I always forget about it. lol.

I just went out to my cabin, where I meet the General, this weekend and checked the camera. Yeah, not the greatest camera quality.
@@OurLifeInTrees I've already talked with the dealer I got ours from. Its defective... I'll be getting it warrantied in a few weeks.
Do you have a link to the rear windshield you used.
Yeah, it’s a SXS windshield rear glass

Do you have a link for the seat warmers and the tablet mount?
The heated seat covers I bought seem to be discontinued on Amazon. These look about the same as what I had.

What’s up man. I like that fan set up. How much air do they put out?
Hard to describe, but enough air it was work the work to build and install for sure.
Can you send me where you got the rock sliders from
I got them from Side By Customs

@@FlyingHWoodworks the curved one might be better. I had to add cube lights to the bumper so that I can see to the sides around turns.
