The weight of 1 Janeu is around 50 grams
1kg Janeu = 20 people
200 kg Janeu = 4000 people
Just for reference, Jalaluddin himself recorded killing 30000 innocent men, women & children in his attack on chittorgarh.

I am OBC I like to know about these samskars of life and somewhat feel downhearted that I couldnt be part of these samskars.Many of my atheist"Highly Educated" Brahmin friends feel cringe about these things.I feel happy for all of you people who proudly wear janew and uphold our roots.
It is our education system that produce guilt feeling in Brahmin kids, that makes them atheist, it is somewhat similar to the issues faced by white kids in west. Sorry to say but current government has disappointed us nothing changed in our history syllabus. My question to you all is, is this same system describes islamic invasion in the same way so that Muslim kids could feel the radical act that their ancestors have done?
You can wear janeu as well for that you can join Arya samaj or Gayatri parivar

Brahmin, Kshatriya and Vaishya Males (upto certain age limit) are authorized, bot hate intended to Shudra Brothers and Females, they simply don't need Janeu. Don't get fooled by the non-vedik non/religious platforms.

@sagarbansal1412 I am not expert...please dig deeper with uplifted peoples. In my limited knowledge by wearing janeu you bound to certain rules of vidhya Arjan, faith to veds, student of yog vidhya and gayatri upasna.
In context to nonveg I believe the achar paddhati ( Vedokt/Dakshinachara or Tantra/Vamachara you chose and which deity u worship as ishta whether vishuddh or ugra is matters.
Remind again I am an ordinary sadhak and know only a little as my guru signed to me.
I am a Punjabi but after my upanayan my life completely changed positively. Janeu helps us to sail through the adversities of life easily
