In Bhagavadgita Lord Krishna assures us that Varn or jathi was created by Him for the smooth functioning of the society and it is done according to one's character and occupation they perform. So in a society you can always find these 4 classes of men without whom the smooth functioning never happens. For example in an organization you can see the advisory board, who can be called Brahmanas, administration class who can be called Kshatriyas, the people who provide finance and look after the economy are the Vaishyas and of course the labour has to be there. Can any one say that why this distinction in that organization? Each one will be given the position according to their own qualifications, can any one question that?
