Hey bud I just installed the Dasaita G12 per this video. Love the unit and all seems to be installed properly. For reference, I to have a 2019 TRD Pro 4Runner (black). My one hickup is that I can't seem to get my TPMS data, engine temp, etc to come over. The car door open indicator works as well as batter voltage and estimated mileage. Any clue how to fix this??

Did you check out the T9/T10 ? I haven’t seen much on Daisata, that looks very clean too
I haven’t personally ran them but i heard of lag issues on the earlier models and so I went with the Dasaita like 2 years. I’ve been happy since. I saw the newest T10 or 11 went completely touch screen. I like having a couple physical knobs. I think Dasaita has the perfect balance
Any luck with getting the tpms to show on the head unit? I wish you could go blackout like the original head unit

When you aay egg out rhe holes for rhe brackets, did you drill out rhe holes on the oem brackets to allow a fit?
How does this compare to the Roadanvi unit for the 4Runner? It almost looks identical to this unit.
More importantly, how has your customer service experience been?
Haven’t heard or tested that one. So far Dasaita has been responsive and their IG is also active.
Are you going to ever use the Cb005-1 harness ? If so can I have it ?
How’s the back up camera look
I installed the original dasaita head unit on my 5th gen 4runner and after installation I noticed the compass feature on the little screen on my gauge cluster went away. Did you notice this when you installed yours and did anything change when you installed the new unit?
Hmm interesting…didn’t notice but also use OnX for everything…must have been borrowing the GPS signal for that from the OEM head unit?
Were you able to see your tire pressure on the unit?
Did you check the amp setting within the settings?
Is the link for the newest version of the head unit? I didn’t see anything to imply that it was a second edition. Or is the original just updated?
I am not sure how they are working through the visuals/description but I believe G12 corresponds to the “12” version OS. Also some product pictures show the OS. They also sent me this product link as the updated one for this. This was just released so maybe they still need to update some photos.
Yes, video link is correct. There are different UI theme pictures in link, and have option: Black or Silver color, 6+64G or 8+256G. Please check and choose one you like.
I’ve been looking for an upgrade to my OEM unit bc of Bluetooth issues. Maybe this would be the one

I had Bluetooth issues until I updated the software from the Toyota website! It’s free. I never have issues anymore

Does the Anytime camera still work with this headunit?
The actual anytime camera mod or just using my front and rear cameras any time through the app? The latter still works like the old unit!

I have version 1 installed in my 4Runner. Is there a way for me to simply upgrade my software to version 2?
I doubt you can. They have upgraded this new unit (8GB RAM). The new OS might run slow there.

There are multiple USB cables . Make sure the correct one is in use

I’ve ran the previous version for over two years…then moved to the newer version to test that…why would I run a bad product for that long all because I got a free headunit? Obviously there is bias but you’ll be hard pressed to find helpful content on RUclips where people tell the whole story and aren’t sponsored. I’ve also been pretty transparent about the issues I’ve had.
