I may be wrong but, I feel like it wasn’t just 1/3 but Olivia and Gowon didn’t have much spotlight either...even choerry, but maybe their debut song is more balanced like I admit I wasn’t sure how Haseul and yeojin would fit in to this concept (yeojin with the buns is murdering me and I love the idea of her as a rapper) and haseuls bridge vocals fuckin slayed me and Heejin was center so I feel like vivi Hyunjin choerry Olivia and Gowon need some more spotlight definitely. I was shocked that the main vocalists everyone predicted kinda went to lip and soul but they’re my favs so I’m so happy lmao

Where are Haseul ViVi and Hyunjin?
Elías Fernández Haseul was center support almost the entire choreo, and i commented on their main mv.. but story wise, ViVi and Hyunjin and Kim Lip are the final pieces of the puzzle that we know nothing about. Kim Lip has only shown that she leads the story of searching for something and the girls join her in that search.
But the other two haven't found their calling in their mv, i think bbc intentionally left them outb of the lyrics to say "They're not fully with Loona yet" and this mv in two weeks is going to be them fully joining.
Everything in this mv was VERY intentional, especially the colors used, and the lip biting scene.

favOriTe is more the direction of love4eva but in general a completely different song. I'm absolutely not disappointed, not overwhelmed, but I worried about how the different units could work together. They did it. I also don't think that this track is weak what some people said. Maybe too much of this Brrra, but otherwise it's very danceable, there's a lot going on in the video, the camera work is great, the girls look great and then it's suddenly over. I have to check the length, but those were the shortest 205 seconds of my life.
Complains (not from me): Line distribution. People. Listen. Listen carefully. They will have tons of songs and depending of the concept this or that girl will have more lines. Hyunjin and Vivi had no lines? You can't get everything you want at once. They will shine. Mark my words.

Hyunjin has one line actually, somwhere in the middle. And Vivi isn't the right person for this concept, I think they made a good choice to save her sweet vocals for debut.

Exactly. My first thing that came to mind when watching it was, Confidence. Like they really confident, but at the same time like, not scared to do anything? Like they could punch someone in the face and the person probably would be thankful, it has that feeling.
i'm just disappointed in the lack of Haseul's lines, the MAIN VOCAL. other than that, it's an amazing song

Well I think chuu and haseul are the objective main vocals but idk why everyone is so sure it wouldn’t be lip or Yves because while hasuel and chuu are objectively and just technique wise the “BEST” singers in the group look at groups like 2ne1 where it was Bom for her unique voice instead of minzy or CL or gugudan where sejeong isn’t the main main vocal. And I feel like Yves is an amazing singer and jinsoul and Kim Lip have really interesting tones and voices of their own so idk who’s gunna get it honestly

loona choreography is INSANE- one of my fave things abt them. esp butterfly, all their choreos are so clever and so visually gorgeous. they don’t feel they age to be using all the members all the time either, which works really well, but when they do use all the members they layer it so cleverly
the song is definitely R&B/B’Day inspired so it’s normal it doesn’t sound like a normal pop song

I think what gets me so much about LOONA is that I can watch their debut knowing all the members and knowing their style, voice, personality, all BEFORE they even debut- so every girl really feels highlighted and unique. I'm so happy with the direction LOONA has been going with their content and I'm so excited for more. Thanks for this reaction PD!

I love that the video is not as colourful as the past solo and group songs because it really showcases the group as a whole instead of each girl considering that they each have colours that represent them in their older videos.

this predebut track ties with me for KARD's pre debt stuff....aka loved this song. Ill reserve my judgment on stanning til after debut
Something great about this song is how it spends its entire time bombarding you with sound. You mentioned it early on with the "crazy instrumentals" and the high pitched sax sounding thing. Only for it to drop out into only drums for the last iteration of the chorus (post-chorus?).
In other words the climax of the song is taking away sound instead of the usual climax where they add it. Really cool stuff.

imo it's a GREAT intro to them. full of energy, the song is just super pumped up, and full of attitude. it's like this is the final act of a show (in loona's case, an almost 2 year long project), before they delve into the next big chapter, like oh all the protagonists have gathered together finally, now it's time to see what they plan to do next kind of a thing.

DarkbloomTV first of all, pd goes by they/them pronouns, so you should respect that. second of all, the subunit have done promotions and vlives in which they have said their own name with the pronunciation i gave, so it’s the correct one.
