1) INC - 1,67,89,272 (135 seats)
2) BJP - 1,40,96,529 (66 seats)

BJP lost due to local issues and Anti-incumbency, JD(S) votes shifted to Congress, but next year MP election is going to be very different as BJP may win 20 to 25 seats out of 28 MP seats in karnataka as karnataka people are fans of Central BJP

I am a South Indian & I totally agree with Prakash Sir on freedom of choice in regards to hindi being imposed on South Indian states. Though marathi is state language in Mumbai but yet hindi is common language. I feel if South India opens up to hindi as secondary language then there can be good communication with fellow citizens of other states. Unity.
Wat I feel is we have our native language for our ppl....and English for communicating with other states....
I would learn Hindi if I'm going to work in a state whr Hindi is broadly used.... if not thn wats the pt in learning Hindi....fr eg wat if a Tamil person becomes PM one day and says Tamil could be a link language.... instead of English....
