Good game! Some ways custodes can increase their effective durability in 3K AoD games is by utilising skirmish to reduce the effectiveness of templates and +1 to cover saves. They also run 13” which is huge. A tailored marine list can definitely beat them but a generalist list will struggle

Great point. Thanks for sharing your tips. Perhaps if they had some more cheaper ranged units it might be better. Allot of las will decimate them.

​@@CommandCentreWargamingto be fair mas Las decimate more or less anything, same a dread spam.
and ultimately spear guard spam as custodes will end up within your line with half the army and decimate it.
it's fairly easy to make busted list in HH, but the community is generally more willing to make less busted list if necessary than in other GW games
