To take them on Sean uses his new Sons of Horus army with Daemon allies.
The Sons of Horus and their unholy allies have pursued an Iron Hands fleet in the hopes of running down Shadrak Meduson, breaching the veil of the warp the Warmasters sons bring the Iron Hands to battle, but something isn't right. Ferrus leads his sons against those of the traitor, the warp is a fickle thing, time has flowed strangely to a place that has passed or will never pass. Will the Gorgon of Medusa bring his erstwhile brothers sons to heel or will the warp run with the laughter of daemon's at the second death of the Xth primarch?

Nice looking armies/table. Too bad Ferrus was lost the first day of the war. He could have made a big difference.
Great game guys. Just one thing with the Get Hot wounds with the meltaguns. The model suffers a wound equal to the strength of the weapon. It doesn't suffer a wound from the weapon so it's not AP1 so the breaches would get their normal save as the wound is only the strength of the weapon, not the profile of the weapon.
That’s actually not the case in this edition. Page 239 of the AoD rulebook under ‘Gets Hot’ says:
‘For each unmodified To Hit roll of 1, the firing model immediately suffers a single Wound with an AP value equal to that of the weapon that was used to attack ‘
So they would be AP1. Poor breachers 🤣
@@RiftForgeStudio ooof! how does that work with breaching weapons? Like with plasma would you roll to wound and see if it breaches?
Just base AP. So with that example they would just take hits at AP4
