I like mine darker. Same with my Salamanders. I get the official theme is lighter, but I like the deep/royal varieties of the colors. But you're right, it's nice to see them in the authentic scheme.
Great table and armies gents as always. 👍🏻. Someone hit the nail on the head in an earlier comment though that heavy weapons squads reactions need reigning in. The 10 man lascannon and 8 man fun killer sqd have illustrated that fact perfectly in this game. Along with the Deathguard move and shoot with heavy weapons rule just confounding the issue further. Interesting mission idea just wondered if all the objectives should be in no mans land and not the deployment zones. It would force players to move their armies about more in a bid to secure them and not just sit on them from turn 1 and run away and hide. Just spouting ideas not criticisms. Great work on the channel and look forward to the next game. Couple of rules questions how did the cognis signum come into effect turn one as part of a reaction.? Also the DG lascannon squad that regrouped shouldn’t they have fired snap shots so would only hit on 5+ with the cognis signum benefit.?
I think Tom’s view is that the Cognis Signum just states ‘shooting phase’ rather than specifying a particular shooting phase. As for the snap shots I’d have to watch it back again :) We also had a chat off camera about the fact it would be better if objectives were outside DZ’. So I’d agree with you there. Glad you’re enjoying the content! Next batrep will be along soon.
@@RiftForgeStudio Yeah i can see why he would see it like that as the wording leaves it open to interpretation. Just thought i’d ask as never come across that before. I’d be inclined not to use it that way as its a reaction in the opponents turn not my own. I’ll email the gw rule guru’s for a clarification. If nothing else they might straighten it out in an upcoming faq. If they get back to me i’ll message you the answer. Look forward to the next game.👍🏻
I love watching loyalist Death Guards. That knight suiciding into lascannons in t1 sort of set the pace for this one though. I think reaction fire on devastators needs to be nerfed.
@RiftForgeStudio your raptor army is the shiznit. Ever try doing 2 squads of jump pack ranged devatators , 1 maybe 2 moritat with volkite etc. Idk 🤷♂️ I'm just starting with raven. I've been a hardcore imperial legion, war hounds , alpha legion and raven guard starting
@@RiftForgeStudioI'm building ea army to field 5k points ea. Magnetized so I can swap as needed. What sucks is a made a karibdis and 5 dreadclaws then they got nerfed. Fml😂
I like the Loyalist Death Guard. Nicely painted army! I dig it. Great battle you guys. The Knight was beautiful! The demons were cool,
That death guard army is phenomenal.
Absolutely love the purple of the minis, everyone else paints them wayyy too dark of a hue

Wow! lovely looking death guard, and really like the mixed traitors list, cool knight and daemons are always sweet
More Daemons are coming soon :)

The Daemon Brutes look awesome. What models are they?
They’re 3D prints. The designer is ‘Lord of the Print’. The STL’s are available on MyMiniFactory

I don’t have a Raptor army…. 🤔
Reactions; ruining games of 30k for almost a year now. 😂
